What's the price of gas where you are?

Re: What's the price of gas where you are?
Over 4 bucks a gallon in NY. 10-40 cents more per gallon if you use a credit or debit card instead of cash. I'm going to go super local, Romeo! How ridiculous is the gas station at the corner of Long Beach Rd and Atlantic Ave? Last time I was there they had the hugest price increase for credit/debit cards vs. cash. It was about 40 cents, I've never seen the credit price per gallon that much higher.
I always thought it was illegal to charge different prices based on payment method, I guess I was wrong cuz every gas station does that now

Re: What's the price of gas where you are?
unfortunately my car takes premium so i am paying around $4.20 at discount places.
the credit card surcharge is annoying. i would carry more cash but that involves me going in the store to pay and then going back in again for change. i'm too impatient for that.

Re: What's the price of gas where you are?
I renewed my Sams membership today cause they're charging $2.99 a gallon
Re: What's the price of gas where you are?
$3.85 per gal for regular. They offer a .10 cent per gal discount on certain days if you pay cash.

Re: What's the price of gas where you are?
$3.65 per gallon for regular
$4.16 per gallon for premium
This does not seem terrible compared to what some of you are paying. What gets me is tolls. To drive from Baltimore to NYC and back is about $110 on my EZPass. $110 for 360 roundtrip miles seems insane to me!

Re: What's the price of gas where you are?
I filled up for $3.54 per gallon (Regular) yesterday.
Re: What's the price of gas where you are?
Regular: 98 cents/liter = 3.71 USD/gal
Premium: 1.033 USD/liter = 3.91 USD/gal
Diesel: 1.02 USD/liter = 3.86 USD/gal

I live right by there. That guy is SUCH a thief!! I never get gas there!!blackula wrote:Over 4 bucks a gallon in NY. 10-40 cents more per gallon if you use a credit or debit card instead of cash. And he changes his prices 2 to 3 times a day! I leave in the morning and he'll be $3.87, come home from work and it's $3.98.
You're better off going down to Sunoco over by Trader Joe's. He's always a few cents less than Gulf and same price for cash/charge.
And I think you are right, I believe it was either Al D'Amato or someone had passed a bill making cash/credit the same price. But now we are talking at least 20 years ago Because D'Amato has been out of office since 1999
So that bill could of expired and was never renewed
Re: What's the price of gas where you are?
since we are all criminals here in california we have to enter our zip code at the pumps. does everyone have to do that? i remember we passed a law outlawing that but something must have happened because they still do it.Romeo wrote:I live right by there. I think I am paying about 3.90 for a gallon of 87 oct. right now at Costco.
Re: What's the price of gas where you are?
Paid $4.09 today
Just got a new SUV and it's verrrry thirsty but I luckily don't have drive too far on a daily basis. I. Need to get to BJs for gas but it's not very convenient.
And I couldn't believe it when I was in FL last week there was $1.40/gal difference between the gas station closest to the airport and the Wawa 1/4 mile further! $3.89 at Wawa and $5.29 at the other place wtf?

Yeah, it blows my mind when I buy gas in SoCal on a drive to Arizona and once I get into Phoenix or Tuscon, it's like a $1.10 cheaper than in CA. I'm paying about $4 - $4.20 reg unleaded [er gallon depending where I an in Orange County/Long Beach right now.Sue wrote:Paid $4.09 today

Re: What's the price of gas where you are?
I love when I go to my friend in NJ and on the way home before hitting the GW bridge I stop on RT 4 at a Sunoco with a smoke shop/Dunkin Donuts.
Gas-cheaper than NY plus it's full service
Cigarettes-cheaper than NY, I buy a carton for $74.00 in NJ, over $100 in NY
And a large ice coffee...
Whoever waits in my car for me always laughs because they say I run out of there with a smile like I just robbed a bank.

Re: What's the price of gas where you are?
I spent years working (on and off) at the same gas station ("I'm not even supposed to be here today." is definitely something I said many times).
You can still pay for your gas first and then pay at a lot of Canadian stations, but it should be changed because it just isn't worth it for the non-union minimum wage workers to have to deal with the assholes who drive off without paying.

Re: What's the price of gas where you are?
$3.09 a gallon here. Looks like its the lowest it has been in a while. Probably a lot better closer to the gulf as well.

I never go there. I did once, realized the card/cash difference and left. I was blown away by the shitty prices. I usually hit up Hess at the corner of Lincoln and Long Beach. If I need beer or anything quick I'll go to the one next to Trader Joes, they're good too.
Re: What's the price of gas where you are?
Hess has been a little high lately too
But at least they are the same for cash or credit
But seriously my gas buddy app is the best!!

Re: What's the price of gas where you are?
Wow gas(regular) at Costco is 99.9 per litre!
I can't remember the last time gas was below a buck.
