I might depending on comments about the audio and pressing quality. I'd love to get a vinyl upgrade from my original record for NS. I'm not holding my breath though - I'm almost certain the 2 studio albums will simply be re-presses of the recent vinyl releases and I wouldn't be surprised if the out-takes and Palladium LPs are simply sourced from digital.

I'd love to have a great sounding live recording on vinyl.
And like we discussed before, NS could use a remastering job.
So, they could make something cool out of this, really something for the fans, but like Panda said, probably won't happen since they don't care
Re: POLL: are you buying Sterling Spoon box set on release?
I'd only consider it if you got a free spoon included.

If it comes with a turntable too then maybe.

Heh, I believe when Queen re-re-reissued all their studio albums in a huge box set a year or two ago, you could also opt for the Uber-Deluxe version that included a "Limited Edition Queen Turntable" for about $1,200.bman wrote:If it comes with a turntable too then maybe.

If they had done the smart thing and included embrace the darkness, then yes.
Re: POLL: are you buying Sterling Spoon box set on release?
I voted yes for RDLH. Wish xxx would've been included instead of the non-live tracks from Kettle Whistle.
Agree about Embrace The Darkness but think it should be a limited record store day 7 inch. Picture on 1 side, song on the other. I got an awesome Circle Jerks-Wild in the streets demo like that this year.

Only if said spoon is full of perry's jizz and heroin-laced blood..Bandit72 wrote:I'd only consider it if you got a free spoon included.
I think then it would be worthwhile...
ha it would be hilarious, and oh-so groan-worthy if they did include a dirty old spoon that looked like it was used to mix gear.... that'd be funny...

This set should include a used spoon of Dave's, a bud from Perk, and a reproduction of an x-ray of Perry's old nose and/or old teeth.
A small cup of plain yogurt or a coupon for 20% off beige pants from Old Navy will also be included. It represents Chaney and his personality.

If a crocheted tea cozy by Etty is included along with the spoons, I will buy the set for sure.

That's probably not fair but I laughed so hard that my kid got pissed that he was missing phineas and ferb.Tyler Durden wrote:

I still don't understand why they don't remaster "NS" and "Ritual". Those are classic albums even for non-alternative rock fans, and they could get a lot more of money releasing a remastered or -EVEN BETTER- remixed edition. Jethro Tull's old albums are getting that treatment by Steven Wilson, and they sound absolutly amazing.
Same with the remixed re-release of Pearl Jam's "Ten".
I still don't get it, seriously.

Have they ever done anything that made much sense?parklife03 wrote:I still don't understand why they don't remaster "NS" and "Ritual". They had a 8-12 month moment of clarity around '08-'09.ritdehabit wrote:Have they ever done anything that made much sense?parklife03 wrote:I still don't understand why they don't remaster "NS" and "Ritual".
