trevor ayer wrote:speaking of psi com on vinyl ... is that a newer vinyl or the original pressing? .. i have been curious about the 'speed' as the cd sounded slowed down and I had a tape from the original pressing that was faster and sounded really good .. i kind of assumed my tape was just typically the wrong speed but it would be nice to know for sure .. i also heard that when they remastered it they got it wrong and the newer pressings were the wrong speed .. anybody know the details on that?
Don't know, but I could check :)

I have the original (thanks to Drifter!) and the repress on vinyl

Well, 2 people.. Me and Kevin. I got the Perry menorah thing from Kevin and added the random filler to it, taped off TV (always trying to be thrifty with blank VHS space). The only Jane's-related-ness to the filler is the quick ad for ill-fated Dave "tomorrow on the Daily Show" appearance during the 9/10/01 show. (I still blame the terrorists for ruining Dave's solo career.) I don't recall selling that VHS to anybody recently, but hey, glad it found a good home!

Hey Drifter, I've got an extra voodoo doll sticker that came with the paraphernalia cd. Its not in the greatest condition but it still has the part attached on the back you peel off to make it a sticker. You want it, send me an envelope or something.

come on big spender. you can spare the 2 cents for an envelope or better yet reuse an old envelope and then turn in a couple plastic bottles to get that 49 cents for the stamp.

Maybe you'll be crazy enough, drifter, to spend 50$ on some Nothing's Shocking flats.

holy mackerel, batman. 1200+ for a test pressing.

"Goodnight" is just the sign off at the end of the record. I don't think it is listed as a separate track on the regular release, but it's that closing voice that says "Goodnight."

That's crazy. Makes me wonder if there's a part of a Jane's track I've never heard before. Although, I used to listen to those records with headphones cranked up so I wouldn't miss a second of it.

From memory it sounds like Perry's voice. There's a "good night" and a guitar strum..

It's most definitely Perry. And it goes "Good night. Gooood niiight. strumm."

received three packages in the mail today, a 91 yellow an orange an yellow dec 11th 91 poster with ja an the pixies, a p4p westwood one spin session with 100 ways played live in the studio with interviews 1-20-97, but this ones gonna get me stoked for the triple gig at the bowling lanes here in vegas next week, gonna play this dvd in my truck

got this package from a reluctant girl artist seemingly named scully in Oregon for $5

Image

I noticed when I looked closely at the address label I saw a message written backwards ( p.s. loved the random "Jean Andre" lingerie receipt showing she received a 34-38 B/C Bra) plus a 36 B/C Nude Bra)

Image

so I carefully sliced the address with my exactor knife and unfolded this thought form scully

Image

trippy cool fans huh?

I'd be pretty freaked out if I got that kind of note from a total stranger. "She" sounds liker a serial killer.
