Barkley should have left now he is going to get picked by the JagsSR wrote:Stanford looked great. 2nd half performance on both sides of the line had teeth. SC's youth was exposed. No composure, and lane is an over rated hc. Always wanted urban.
Alabama has a Cush schedule with the exception of 2 games. I see them doing it again.
Barkley looked like a freshman.

Im coping just fine buying more property in Steiner Ranch, but you dodged the question there bandwagon, rooting for ND and USC = traitor to both schools.kv wrote:cope spazzJuana wrote:Bama or LSU are going to win it, they recruit Oline and Dline, and that is why the SEC has won the last 6.kv wrote:

Re: NCAAF
I'm surprised to have not read anything negative about FSU yet....
Re: NCAAF
Well to be honest I have been pretty drunk in some of the sports replies as I was watching them at the bar, but the problems in the Stanford game were that Holmes couldn't go and if you do not protect your QB then its hard to do anything. The rumor is that he is playing on a hair line fracture in his ankle. Probably didn't help that that monster was right across from him and then that crowd was pretty rowdy.
Pac12 is going to beat up on each other as there are probably 7-8, 8 win teams in the conference this year.

Thanks, Mock.mockbee wrote:I hate FSU.
I'm being quietly optimistic about FSUs season. It seems to be working so far. EJ Manuel and Chris Thompson (especially Chris) have been great.

Aaaaand that was a big blow this weekend.......Juana wrote:They're O-line is HUGEthoreau wrote:Thanks, Mock.mockbee wrote:I hate FSU.

Yeah, they're some big guys. It's been fun watching the games in-person this season.

A big thank you for clearing a wide open path for Oregon to the BCS game.thoreau wrote:Aaaaand that was a big blow this weekend.......Juana wrote:They're O-line is HUGEthoreau wrote:Thanks, Mock.mockbee wrote:I hate FSU.

I am still quite concerned how Oregon O-line will match up with those big SEC guys........
We've done okay, just need that extra umph or tweek to win the games. People seem to forget that we only lost to Cam Newton and Auburn in the NCG by 3 points.......
Re: NCAAF
If they can avoid Alabama then Oregon can win...Alabama's defense is on a whole other level than everyone else, but being that its college they can drop a game and not be in the nat title game. Sadly I will admit Oregon looks pretty good. They should get DeAnthony the ball more though that guy is a big play in a can ready to burst at any time.
Re: NCAAF
I haven't seen Alabama play yet this year. It could be veeeery interesting though, with Oregon and the gimmicks they pull. I could see the whole Oregon offensive line rolling out of the pocket every time and those Alabama guys wouldn't be able to keep up by the second half. We'll see. Oregon could have a huge dominant victory or fall flat on their faces, I could see either.Juana wrote:If they can avoid Alabama then Oregon can win...Alabama's defense is on a whole other level than everyone else, but being that its college they can drop a game and not be in the nat title game. And did you see Saban's comment on No Huddle offenses being dangerous for the players and should possibly be banned..........
Uhhhhhhhh.... football is dangerous for the players.
The South only knows how to do things one way, and when new ideas spring up, they get scared......
Re: NCAAF
Saban just says whatever to get the media in a stir and focused on HIM and not his team. Its actually a very smart play, he doesnt feel that way because he uses the no huddle on offense you dont win 3 NCs in 8 years without knowing how to play the media.
That being said Oregon's O-line would be vital because the tackles are solid but the OGs in the middle and the C would need to dominate because what hurt them against Auburn and LSU last season was that pressure of collapsing the middle of the line.
