Underground Video
Underground Video
is a thing.
Re: Underground Video
seems like a waste of money to me
Re: Underground Video
Color me shocked. I thought the album promotion was dead. It's a good song. With the right video it could help the album move a few more units.
Re: Underground Video
I think their promotion efforts are too far apart from each other, there's no continuity at all.hokahey wrote:Color me shocked. I thought the album promotion was dead. It's a good song. With the right video it could help the album move a few more units.

Here's a pic of what they're working on...

I'll admit it... I smiled.Six7Six7 wrote:Here's a pic of what they're working on...
Re: Underground Video
I thought we knew it was coming because they announced it as a single, then they released a lyric video. Lyric videos are usually placeholders for upcoming videos, or at least that's been my experience. I've seen about four lyric videos.
Re: Underground Video
Without wishing to sound too negative, I'm sure we're all expecting this video to be shit. So what do you guys reckon the video should be? It's a tough one as far as i'm concerned because if they touch on something "cool", it'll look like a sell out. Gotta say that i fear the green screen, as posted earlier, is pretty near the truth.
Re: Underground Video
Well if it were up to me, it would follow the band around some dirty city late at night as they find themselves in dangerous alleyways filled with less-than-ideal characters
But they will probably just shoot Dave and Perk rocking out in front of a green screen that will be replaced by grafitti and random video clips they find from a stock video site. In between that we'll see Perry singing in some glam sequined outfits (complete with cape) and making out with Etty.

Re: Underground Video
Ok so Perry is still using one of those lame old microphones...
...but i don't see a cape or a green screen for now.@PerryFarrell
We shot a video for "Underground" last week. I had a good time on that day. Met up with very underground guys, gals, and in betweens.
Re: Underground Video
"very underground guys"
Re: Underground Video
Now that i look again, it seems the thing taking up the entire left half of the photo is the green screen.
Awesome. I'm glad they're going that route again.

Re: Underground Video
looks like a sheet to me.
it's probably a performance video with way to many fast edits and costume changes. that is my prediction.

Re: Underground Video
Maybe I just don't know how music videos are normally made, but I'm thinking the fact it was shot in a day is a bad thing

Agreed.imail724 wrote:Maybe I just don't know how music videos are normally made, but I'm thinking the fact it was shot in a day is a bad thing
But I guess it's easier when the best idea you can come up with is 'let's have you guys playing the song! the drums could be here, an amp over there...'
