Ugh. I hadn't seen that yet. Hope he's on the mend soon. Fishbone will be releasing their new song any day now.SR wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 6:14 amYes. I came out of my Jane's retirement and am seeing them in March. I haven't been to a Jane's show since 2011.
I'm also seeing Idles in June at some goofy festival where I have no interest in any other band. Odd pairing. At least I will get out before everyone. I hope they play some headlining shows so I can go to that instead,

Got some presale tickets for Depeche Mode in October in Orlando. Weird feeling that this might be the last time I ever see them live.

Got tickets for The National on the pre-sale today. for August.
The reason I got the tix is because Patti Smith is on the bill along with the U.S. Girls . I don't think I even know any The National songs, maybe one, but that's about it.

Love and Rockets’ looming reunion will include more than just the band’s appearance at Cruel World in the Los Angeles area this May, as the trio today announced four more concerts in the western U.S. in the days that follow the festival appearance.
The band — Daniel Ash, David J and Kevin Haskins — will follow that May 20 slot at Cruel World with concerts in Oakland, California; Salt Lake City, Utah; Portland, Oregon; and Seattle, Washington, according to a post on the group’s Instagram. Ticket details are not yet known.
See full dates below.
Love and Rockets last performed live in 2008 with a couple warmup shows and a trio of festival slots, including at Coachella and Lollapalooza. The band’s last album was 1998’s Lift, and its last tour followed that in 1999.
Bauhaus began its latest reunion with a trio of shows in Hollywood in late 2019, then continued with a pandemic-delayed string of headlining dates and festival appearances, including at the inaugural Cruel World festival — which itself was delayed from 2020 to 2022.
The band even released its first new song in 14 years.
In late August last year, however, Bauhaus canceled the remainder of its reunion dates in North America as frontman Peter Murphy entered rehab ” to attend to his health and well-being,” leaving fans wondering if the rest of the band would simply continue on as Love and Rockets.
Love and Rockets 2023 tour dates
May 20: Cruel World Festival, Pasadena, CA
May 21: Fox Theater, Oakland, CA
May 24: Sandy Amphitheater, Salt Lake City, UT
May 25: Roseland Theater, Portland, OR
May 28: Moore Theater, Seattle, WA

Re: Live shows in your agenda?
Much appreciated. Am being greedy with multiple shows. I may complain if I don't get to all of the ones I want, but not with any reasonable grounds for it. Cheers.
Re: Live shows in your agenda?
I went to the first day of Lolla Chile and caught Lil Nas X - what a terrific performer. Absolutely loved him.

Nice!
Going to see Love & Rockets in Oakland in May. Super excited. Maybe next year a double bill w/ Jane's??

Saw Inspiral Carpets Sunday night in a tiny venue. So good, back to 1990! I never realised the original drummer took his own life in 2016 because he had really bad tinnitus.

I have many upcoming ones:
I saw Alcest on Saturday (amazing). And next I'll have The Brian Jonestown Massacre, U.D.O. + Tim Ripper Owens, Accept, Testament, Stone Temple Pilots, The Winery Dogs, Red Fang, Snarky Puppy, Kraftwerk, Ghost, and Alborosie.
Plus many bands from my country

Off to see Blur do a warm up gig on the 26th at Wolves Civic. Amazed I got tickets as they sold out in like 10 minutes. Think they're doing two nights at Wembley so seeing them in a 3,500 capacity venue should be great.
