Love him or hate him Bean has a great perspective on things and while I hate the C's I do love IT and his gameSR wrote:Pretty cool insights into Kobe's thoughts on IT....

Re: NBA
I don't really dispute the whole MVP race thing this year.....beard v westy....LeBron....blah, blah, blah....the criteria is so muddled and murky. I have never liked Harden much; his play is so herky-jerky/loosy-goosy....just SO fucking inelegant to watch; I see his genius, but fugly to the eye, at least to mine. But, wtf is this all about.....elimination game? Hard to respect the effort shown tonight.
On another note, the chosen co-coaches of the year seem odd. I'd Snyder, Fizdale, and yes Brad over D'Antoni and Spoelstra. Coaches vote on em so they see something I don't obviously. Miami made a strong push, but late with limited talent. Houston did what Houston has always done with this line up.

Re: NBA
With just seconds left, Wall forces 48 minutes more. Assassin. Great game. Great player.
SOOO many moving parts in this series. Time to just let Monday just play out, but beyond being fucking great to go to the E finals per se, it would be great strategically as well. To get another (at least four games) series to see what to do with our windfall of first rounders is yet another gift in this rebuild.

Re: NBA
Yeah, this whole notion that players are purposely placing their feet in the landing zone of opposing players to sprain their ankles is simply paranoid and insane. Thank you Kawhi and the Spurs for dismissing it out of hand and fuck you Morris for heaving Horford out of bounds in retaliation for your nutzo perceived slight.....and McCutchen (and the rest of the crew)for the no call.....btw.....the league has erased that fucker under the radar since the KO/KO issue.
I have a prior engagement tonight. I hate taping games and watching them trying to catch up with the rest of the world, but am seriously considering going device silent from 5-9 tonight until I can get home.

Re: NBA
Ya thought of that...bummer
The ghost of Steve Nash is over! Yessssssssssss
Boston should build an ainge monument in the city for trading ring chasing vets who were abandoning ship for first round picks...nets should be dissolved for "basketball reasons"
Soo stoked..can't believe we not only kept our pick but moved up, just like last year!
1 would have been sweet but now there is no second guessing who we pick...we grab whichever guard the Celtics don't...if we keep him
Plus we didn't go full tank like I wanted us to and it still worked out

I want Jackson or Fox, although Lonzo will bring a lot of excitement Jackson and Fox (who lit Lonzo up for 40 in the tournie) have WAY more upsidekv wrote:Ya thought of that...bummer

Please do not take Fox. I think the Kings will have a decent shot at #5 for him.Juana wrote:I want Jackson or Fox, although Lonzo will bring a lot of excitement Jackson and Fox (who lit Lonzo up for 40 in the tournie) have WAY more upsidekv wrote:Ya thought of that...bummer

I hope the Lakers take Lonzo. It will give me a Laker to hate now that Kobe retired.
Re: NBA
Fox is great. Lonzo is a solid pick and his dad has him hyped up but I want Fox or Jackson. D-Lo was stunted by having Byron as a rookie, last year with Luke especially in the second half he showed a lotcreep wrote:Please do not take Fox.
