this is really not necessary
and guess who is designing the cover of this "complication"
etty-
Still from "Classic Girl", Jane's Addiction Irvine Meadows. Thank you to my girl @ajceli_angelamacdonald who went through the song frame by frame to pull this gem for the jacket of a DVD complication. I miss the show, the music and performing. #rocknroll #showgirl #mydayjob
Really? frame by frame? that seems like an awfully long way to do something. Surely you could watch the show, and note down the times when there was a "good" shot then go back and scrutinise.....
I wish people would let this go. It's finished. Finito.
Out of both Perry and Dave, i think Dave could possibly put his 'differences' aside. But with Etty as tour manager and supreme being, as far as Eric is concerned it finished in 2010.

I agree. And I really don't think Eric has much left in the tank to contribute either.
At this point, it's like watching a slo-mo car crash over a period of years as the Janes Gang finds new way to flog and dilute whatever legacy they still have.
I don't really get why Dave is so mad. Eric really didn't trash dave at all in the sonny interview. Plus, I don't think Dave and Perry are so tight that Dave would take all the Perry slights personally.

dave was mad that he did the interview. keep all their dirty laundry inhouse. of course dave and perry didn't do the same when they broke up during the satellite party and panic channel era.
Ten years ago, there was still unfinished business- they hadn't reunited or tried to record new material. We're on the other end of both those things now. They gave it the old college try, and it didn't pan out. Dave pretty much gave that vibe to Eddie Trunk back in the fall. I'm at a point now where they do what they do and it's whatever. I still have the records, and got to see the original line up. I'm pretty content with that.
Etty on background vocals repeating "sexy sex" over and over.
Peter D replaced by Hezron Farrell on guitar
Perk replaced by Izzadore Farrell on drums
Carl Restivo from Perry Farrell's Satellite Party on bass.
I didn't think Dave's hurt with Eric was just based on the Sonny interview - didn't he say something (either on the radio or twitter) re. hearing that Eric had been saying negative stuff about him to people in the industry?

Exactly. This idea that they should "put their differences aside and try and make another record"... They tried that in 2008 and discovered they couldn't.
I don't suppose Embrace the Darkness was ever leaked?
