Re: Secret Santa?
Now this is not Hoka posting pics........
Here are my pics from my Secret Santa from Belgium:
First of all the package:
Lets have a look inside...oh a lot of paper, a candle and two cds
'Great, a bottle of belgium beer....hmm not for me i think....i am only 17 I'll give it to my mom
So after diving through all the paper we found a lot of nice stuff, like a beautiful yellow fleece plaid, belgium Leonidas pralines (i love that cause all the Leonidas shops here in Düsseldorf are closed), other very sweet sugary marshmellows, a yellow candle which illuminates the kitchen table now and 2 cds of belgium bands deus and Kapitan Korsakov. I listened to K. Korsakov already and i really dig it. I'll have to check out deus..and let you know man. Anyway new music is always good.
Oh and it had a lovely written card with a lot of text which was a great pleasure to read.
So thanks a lot my belgium friend, that was and of course still is one great Secret Santa for me.

So, can we form a mutiny against Hoka or is that against the holiday spirit?

Just a quick note to my Secret Santa that I received the package yesterday (NYE!), love the goodies and will post pics when things settle down (along with my hangover) over the next day or so.

Re: Secret Santa?
My 2nd of 2 Secret Santa packages arrived from the UK via Bandit72 on New Years Eve. Here's what's included:
- Big white tapestry detailing the origins and lineups of key British Heavy Metal/Hard Rock bands.
- "Little Black Book of Setlists" from key rock shows over the past 50 years.
- "The Periodic Table of Heavy Metal" book that breaks down everyone from Led Zep to Nirvana(!) in an elaborate guide from lightest to heaviest "elements." Yes, Janes is included (Transitional Metals).
- A packet of postcards featured old school Brit metal bands.
- A box of "Marmite" chocolate truffles. Apparently, some contain Marmite, some don't. Never heard of Marmit before, so this'll be interesting.
- Nice Christmas card made by Bandit's li'l daughter. Very sweet.
Along with the Birmingham shirt, a *VERY* cool package from the UK. Dual Devil Horn salute to you, Bandit72!

Re: Secret Santa?
Great! I'm glad you like everything. Marmite is the UK equivalent to the Australian 'Vegemite'. Which Nausea hates. I love it on toast but never had it with chocolate! It's a yeast extract and has a very strong flavour. I had also sent you some Trooper beer with a commemorative glass but the fuckers returned it! I blame a Trump
It's actually a very nice beer.

Blackula should have received his SS package a few days before Christmas according to USPS tracking.chaos wrote:So I guess LarryB and Blackula haven't their received gifts yet.

Re: Secret Santa?
I haven't seen Blackula around here lately,,,vacation?
Why isn't HOka posting his pics?? I don't think my gifts were anything to be embarrassed about. It's not like I sent him butt plugs and huge dildos.

Re: Secret Santa?
Thank you so much Pandemonium!!!!! You are generous AF, as the kids say. I'm trying to upload a picture but I can never figure out how. I got a mini Godzilla, a Perk and a Navarro instructional DVD and 3 LPs: Savages, Drenge and GGU!!! I actually dropped hints to my wife "wow, GGU is being released on vinyl". She didn't get it. Panda, you came through in ways my wife could not! Excited to hear Savages and Drenge, I've never heard them before. This is really awesome, thank you very much!
Can anyone tell a dumbass how to add a photo? I have an iPhone and I hit upload attachment but the picture is too big to post?

Re: Secret Santa?
OK same deal then, kinda.
Go to app store,
download the Photobucket app,
sign in,
allow it access to your phone's photos and camera (or whatever the fuck you have to do to make it work),
upload the pic,
click it to select,
click the Info icon on the bottom right,
click the Direct link until it goes green and says Link copied,
come back here,
paste the link,
select it again,
hit the "Img" button,
submit.
