My interview with Perry Farrell
Hi, guys. As some of you may know, I'm from Argentina and I'm a journalist.
A few days ago I did my second interview with Perry (first one was in 2014), this time about the Hall of Fame and the Sterling Spoon box set.
You can read it (in spanish) here: http://blogs.rock.com.ar/perry-farrell- ... l-corazon/
A few headlines for the non-spanish users:
PF: "If we don't get into the Hall of Fame, my heart is going to break a little bit".
We also talked about drugs (he said that the Sterling Spoon's name is obviously a reference to heroin), and I asked him how's he doing with sobriety.
I also asked why there is no new material, rarities or unreleased concerts on the box set, and he said that the idea came from Warner, only to showcase what the company already had edited before.
He also said that the vinyls were remastered, and that he recently wrote new songs inspired on the Trump successful election (remember that he was a Hillary endorser).
There were a lot more talking about Jane's Addiction, but that part will surface soon.
Enjoy it!

The other day Etty said, I don't like Trumpfarrellgirl99 wrote:somehow i dont think perry's trump protest song would be good
She's such a beautiful girl, he must be a dump
Etty thinks the world of me
She says Trump can go climb a tree
Woah woah woah, we're in love!
In love, in love, we make love.
We make love, we make love.
Every single day
10 times a day
We make love, we make love
That's why Etty's held high above
Love love, Etty, love love

As a bonus track, Perry will do a special Trump mix of "I like Em Big" to "I like Em Yuuge!"Six7Six7 wrote:The other day Etty said, I don't like Trumpfarrellgirl99 wrote:somehow i dont think perry's trump protest song would be good

Here's a full translation of the interview:
- Perry: Yeah, you know, I'm a party man, I just love to party. I am Jane's Addiction, I love Etty and I love Hillary. I've written 175 songs in the last week, I can't wait for the world to listen to them. I invented Lollapalooza and the concept of music festivals, and in fact grunge was a project I had with Kurt. I remember when Michael Jackson wanted to retire from the music business and he called me for advice, and I said 'Mike, how can you give up the thrill of music?" - 2 weeks later, he had released Thriller on the back of that conversation and thanked me for the rest of his life.

Hurts to laugh for both reasons, but
Re: My interview with Perry Farrell
I never thought Perry would be annoying translated in Spanish. Sorry, couldn't finish reading the interview
Re: My interview with Perry Farrell
Kudos on the many funny quips and 'lyrics' on this thread. One tiny little defense of PF on the subject of politics. Back in '04, the year kerry lost to the young Bush, moveon.org was new and did incredible work almost getting rid of W. They had a fundraiser at the Hammerstein that was really good. Moby led the house band. The roots played a great set, and perry sang an inspired 'something in the air' (--thunderbolt newman) and 'idiots rule'. We paid quite a lot for our tickets, for a good cause, and did so primarily because perry was on the show.

Now it's "Perry Farrell is playing? PASS."
