Ticketmaster Lawsuit Resolution
The so-called benefits of the now resolved long standing class action lawsuit against Ticketmaster are finally starting to show up for TM users.
To find out what kind of credits you have, you must have an account with TM.... log in, go to "My Account," look for the "My Vouchers" link which will bring up a list of individual vouchers, the number of depending on who many TM-bought shows you've seen since 1999 to 2013. The "Free GA tickets" vouchers are good for only specific shows, a list of which has not been posted on TM yet. No doubt they'll be for junk bands and events and not something worthy like GA for a Rolling Stones or Guns n' Roses show.
On my account, I have 16 different vouchers for 2 free GA tickets each, but about a quarter of the vouchers don't have codes. I also have 17 vouchers for $2.25 off a ticket purchase (big whoop!) and 2 free vouchers for $5 off USPS shipping for ticket purchases. Who approved this scam of a settlement?
Maybe I can use a couple $2.25 vouchers towards the $15,790.00 courtside tickets currently onsale on TM's resale site for tonight's Basketball playoff game.

I have a similar number of vouchers and codes. Really hoping they'll be usable at a decent selection of events.Pandemonium wrote:The so-called benefits of the now resolved long standing class action lawsuit against Ticketmaster are finally starting to show up for TM users.

I hope everyone is really looking forward to going to DISNEY ON ICE and MONSTER JAM!
Because that's about the only garbage that will end up on the list of approved events.

Re: Ticketmaster Lawsuit Resolution
I just checked my Ticketmaster account and I do not have any vouchers.
Does the lawsuit resolution only apply for people in the US or is it international?
I bought tickets the other day for a show and paid $10.75 service charge per ticket on a $49.50 ticket.

Re: Ticketmaster Lawsuit Resolution
Yep, all those "free ga ticket vouchers" are gone from everyone's account. Here's the excuse that doesn't make a whole lotta sense:
"Customers should also receive a voucher potentially redeemable for two free concert tickets. These will only be usable if customers redeem less than $10.5 million per year in the previously mentioned discount codes (the $2.50 vouchers). If that happens, customers will be able to use the vouchers for a limited number of tickets to certain events hosted at Live Nation-owned venues, that will eventually be listed here."

Re: Ticketmaster Lawsuit Resolution
I saw that my "free ga ticket" vouchers were back in my account this morning. When I went to look to check if I could use one just now, I got a blank page with this message:
"At present we’re experiencing overwhelming load to our systems.
Please sign up to receive periodic notifications by email. Thanks for your patience, we’ll be in touch as soon as possible.
For more information, please visit Curt Schlesinger et al. v. Ticketmaster » – Ticket Fee Litigation site"
Yeah, it's an overwhelming load all right.

Re: Ticketmaster Lawsuit Resolution
Apparently you can "stack" all your $2.25 vouvhers on one purchase to get say $40 off a single ticket.
Re: Ticketmaster Lawsuit Resolution
there are now a bunch of northern california shows. of course they are all sold out after one day.
Re: Ticketmaster Lawsuit Resolution

Re: Ticketmaster Lawsuit Resolution
I'm thinking of using all my free GA vouchers to get a bunch of free tickets all across the country and donate or give them away somehow.
Re: Ticketmaster Lawsuit Resolution
well I have 17 Ticket vouchers, 16 discount codes and one UPS discount code
The problem is all the free tickets shows are sold out.

This is a great idea. My son's bandmate/hs friend is in his 2nd year at Berklee SoM......mys son just got back from Boston visiting; he said it was great but all the students are dirt poor...no surprise, but gifting these to students would be fantabulistic.Pandemonium wrote:I'm thinking of using all my free GA vouchers to get a bunch of free tickets all across the country and donate or give them away somehow.

UPDATE JUNE 22 11:30 PM EDT
At this time, nearly $5m worth of eligible ticket vouchers have been redeemed and the first wave of eligible events has been closed. Given the overwhelming interest, Ticketmaster is adding another $5m worth of eligible tickets so more class members can redeem ticket vouchers. Please check back tomorrow for additional information.
