I do hold it against him. If anything more, it's tacit approval for the celebration of anti intellectualism that fox unapologetically boasts.

I'm not sure that dating a person means supporting the views/policies of their employer, even tacitly. :waits:

If the person works for a major media corporation that spews propaganda (regardless of the ideology), they are more than likely in line with their employer's politics. And if they're not, they may be even more unethical as it appears they will sellout their own convictions for the almighty dollar.

Now, of course this doesn't mean that Dave shares his lady's world view, nor should he have to in order to be in a relationship with her (for example, there are couples who hold differing views on specific social/political issues). However, it seems pretty questionable that someone like Dave would ignore his own views/convictions in order to be with a woman who works for a disgusting organization like Faux News. It's screams the mentality of a teenager or young 20 something...

For example, lots of people (especially when younger) will ignore major differences or red flags in potential partners just because they want something in return. For example, a girl might go out with a total douchebag because he's a popular athlete and she enjoys the attention...or an atheistic guy might go out with a girl who's an evangelical Christian (promiscuous behind closed doors) because he wants the booty.

In Dave case, I just find it odd. He can get laid any time he wants with a TON of women. And he's got decent bank. So I just don't see why he would date someone from Fox. For me personally, the ideological difference(s) would be too HUGE to ignore.

But have we confirmed 100% that they are seeing each other?

:scared:

Okay, I've found a number of quotes from this woman; she's more loathsome than I imagined.

If she's just a media "heel", then shame on her and shame on Dave.

However, if the way she presents on tv is completely genuine, then maybe Dave has a hatefuck fetish for her. :noclue:

I think this Fox news chick and Dave are finito.

Didn't someone recently post somewhere here a pic Dave tweeted of his new 22 year old gf? I think it was a few weeks ago. Not sure exactly.. :hs:

That was a few weeks ago though...I'm sure the 22 year old is history too, haha.

I recently looked through Dave's Instagram. He had a pic of him and a different random girl for almost every different night of whatever tour he was on with Jane's. It was like he was documenting his groupie conquests.

When a channel I subscribe to on Youtube did a story about her, I went to her twitter page to see what she was all about, only to be greeted with a wall of insanity about the evils of "The Left" that she is constantly tweeting out. That's when I noticed on a couple of the more outrageous ones about Obama, Dave left comments like "I've been thinking this way too" and "I agree" on them. That was about a week or two before news came out that they were seeing each other.

I would try finding them but both have me blocked now :lolol:

The man had to have been thinking with his dick. Dave is a little off at times...but he doesn't strike me as that crazy.

When everyone starts talking about Dave's lovelife, you know Jane's Addiction is currently stagnant.

OIC. yes indeed, we're all adults there.... lol

So these e-cigs still have nicotine in them, which i guess if you're looking at it from an "evils" perspective, is the lesser compared to what the smoke does to your lungs... :noclue:

I have no idea.

I just looked at those pics again. What Dave has is a vape pen. People say it's better for you than smoking a joint, pipe, or hitting a bong...but I think the jury is still out.

I guess it depends on what aspect people are looking at. Lung damage vs nicotine addiction...

I had a quick look online and see that as a nicotine delivery system e-cigs are considered to be non- destructive to the lungs as opposed to using a cigarette to deliver the drug by pumping smoke directly into the lungs.

Then for shits and giggles, I had a look at whether smoking pot is as bad for you (smoke>lung-wise) as cigarette smoking and the testing itself has been pretty poor so the results range from, "no it's fine", to "yes it's as bad" lol aaah science the govt isn't interested in.. what you gonna do???

If i was to make an uninformed call I would say that ingesting any type of smoke directly into your lungs on a regular basis is going to be bad - generally speaking... So a fireman who attends smoky fires every day or week for 20 years but does not smoke would end up with a similar lung cancer situation as a smoker.. dunno..

Oh yeah, any kind of smoke inhaled into the lungs can't be good for you.

I've smoked my share of weed over the years...not so much anymore. But my main concern with weed is that research has shown that it is not completely harmless (despite what many rockers and hipsters would like to believe). There is a link between pot smoking and the onset of schizophrenia in people who have a genetic predisposition to the disorder. Basically, if there is a trace of schizophrenia in your family, smoking weed increases the chance of you developing the disorder. However, without a generic predisposition, your odds of developing the disorder does not increase because of marijuana use.

yeah I've read about that.. I would assume that the general perception of it being "not that bad for you" is based on factors such as incorrect, and a lack of, information along with the intense focus cigarette smoking has on health, the fact it's mostly illegal which factor into the lack of research.

From what I've read, that mental health issue gets worse the stronger the strains of weed are.. I remember when I was in my teens/early twenties people would still talk about bud like it was some super-drug and amazing new thing that was hard to get. Leaf was still the norm among people who I knew that smoked weed... I doubt anyone would smoke pot leaves any more? Dunno.
