Aint No Right

For some reason IE 8 doesn't let me stay signed in. Yes I tick the "Keep me signed in..." box and sign in but get directed to the sign in page again....

I click a link from an email notification [which normally takes me right to the topic] and end up at the sign in page
I sign in ticking the Keep Me Signed In box
I see a page that shows me signed in but then i see the sign in page again and im not signed in... What the fuck??

I'm using IE 8.0.7600.16385 on Windows 7 Home Basic

This happens when I click a link from an email to view a topic too..

but doesn't happen when I log in with Firefox...
anyone got any clues?

i read up a little on this and it seems to be a common problem. i haven't seen a fix yet. i purged the cache on the board and some have been able to fix this by clearing their cookies in ie after the casche was cleared. maybe try that.
