God, please oh sweet Jesus, don't bring Dilla back into our lives, I beg of you almighty Moshe, provide us with freedom from his tortuous scriptures, oh all-embracing Hanuman.

Adolph and SGB are the only people that have been banned from here and that was because they were flooding the board with nonsense threads and racist posts.

There is a guy who teaches Latin via YouTube. He has hundreds of videos posted. You may find some of them helpful with regard to pronunciation.

I took Latin in grades 9 and 10 and really enjoyed it. i didn't continue with it because I was also taking French and Spanish.

I don't have any tips for self-learning though. In a classroom setting we had a structure to the learning. I remeber having to read stories aloud to get practice for pronounciation.

Thanks Chaos; I will look at those. Do you know latin?

Arty, yeah.....I have been looking for classes to attend. I feel more comfortable and confident there.

I think this is in substitute for a Porche and 21 year old for my mid life crisis.

Very little classical latin; I may take a course in medieval latin over the summer.

Wheelock is to the textbook standard for the Latin survey course. I took Latin in the early nineties and used the Wheelock text.
