Off to see a triple bill on March 30th: Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets and Stereo MC's

That's if Shaun Ryder makes it... :conf:

Paul Weller tix for Sept.

September is shaping up to be a busy concert month for me: IDLES, PJ Harvey, St Vincent, Paul Weller, Jeff Lynne

I guess I'm making up for the missed shows during the pandemic years.

I saw Nation of Language again last night, opening for Beach Fossils. Their live show has continued to evolve and I find them to be a powerhouse show now that they’ve added lighting, fog and more vocal effects to the presentation. They tour incessantly and it’s obvious how well they’ve honed their act. There are very few bands I’d drop everything to see and they’re one of them. Sadly, it was an openers set, so it was only 10 songs.

They’re not for everyone, but if you like early New Order/OMD/Depeche Mode, they’re worth the time to explore.

The Live Nation $25 promo starts tomorrow. I get a code today for early access through my bank because it's one of the sponsors.

Got tix to the Slash S.E.R.P.E.N.T Festival and Tedeschi Trucks Band Deuces Wild 2024 with Special Guest Margo Price. ( I'm going for Margo Price- she is awesome!)

I was looking at the STP+Live show, there was $25 tickets for the lawn. I'm thinking about it...

Just saw Death Cab and Postal Service. I’ve always adored that Postal Service album and was blown away by how well they not only reproduced it live, but even improved upon it. Absolutely incredible show.

Looking forward to Outlaw Fest w/ Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp and Willie Nelson. Robert Plant and Alison Kraus were amazing on it last year.

Then War on Drugs with the National and Lucius, followed by Evolution Fest w/ Janes, Beck, Blondie, Killer Mike.

I’ve seen more shows since Covid “ended” than the 10 years preceding it combined.
