And why would you have seasons to cook dead animals anyway? I'm having cow today, turkey tomorrow, pork on Sunday and rat on Monday.
Did I say rat? I meant Chinese food.

Do you like Indian? Or is it hard to find over there?

It's fairly easy finding Indian food here... however, having never been in India myself, I don't know how faithful it is...
I do like it, though

Have you tried Chilean? I don't think it's easy to find in the island...

I haven't no, I'll have to have a look around. Unfortunately I have only had the opportunity to travel to Mexico in Latin America. I love hot food and chilli which is a result as the cuisine over here caters for that quite a bit as there is also Goan and Bangladeshi cuisine.

Give me some Chilean examples. You don't eat refried beans with everything do you? :hehe:

We actually don't eat refried beans at all :noclue:

Here are some examples of Chilean cuisine:

- Empanadas

Image
Chilean empanadas can have a wide range of fillings, but there are three basic types that are the most popular:

The first one is baked and filled with pino, a traditional filling consisting of beef, onions, raisins, black olives and hard boiled eggs.
The second one is usually filled with seafood and fried.
The third type contains cheese and may be baked or fried, although the latter form is more common.

There are many variations on each of these basic types (e.g.: pino without raisins and olives; all kinds of seafood, like mussel, crab, prawns or locos (abalone); mixed shrimp/cheese; etc.).
- Paila marina (basically, a seafood soup)

Image

- Pastel de choclo

Image

- Crudo (basically, steak tartare)

And to drink... Chicha, Pisco sour and/or wines...

I'm hungry now.

LOS ANGELES -- A woman shot pepper spray to keep shoppers from merchandise she wanted during a Black Friday sale, and 20 people suffered minor injuries, authorities said.

The incident occurred shortly after 10:20 p.m. Thursday in a crowded Los Angeles-area Walmart as shoppers hungry for deals were let inside the store.

Police said the suspect shot the pepper spray when the coverings over the items she wanted were removed.

"Somehow she was trying to use it to gain an upper hand," police Lt. Abel Parga told The Associated Press early Friday.

He said she was apparently after some electronics and used the pepper spray to keep other shoppers at bay.

Officials said 20 people suffered minor injuries. Fire department spokesman Shawn Lenske said the injuries to least 10 of them were due to " rapid crowd movement."

Parga said police were still looking for the woman.

The store remained open and those not affected by the pepper spray continued shopping.

The Indian food in the US isn't the same as Brit Indian food. Whenever I'm back in the UK I make a point to eat as much of it as I can. It definitely tastes better in Britain.

Can you actually say that I'm wrong about the fuckedupness of a lot of Americans? Do you not read the papers, watch the news or check out news over the Internet? did you not read Creep's article? :noclue:

Fuckedupness is not exclusive of Americans, if that's your point.

You can sit and watch the news and become convinced that the world, or the USA as it is, is a terrible place. But for every retailer that had an "incident" on Black Friday, there were at least a thousand where there were none.

No, I don't think "a lot of Americans" are fucked up. That implies a majority.

I think a lot of Americans are generous. A lot of Americans are kind. Yes there are pockets, especially in poorer areas, of the crazy ones but they in no way represent a lot of America.

:lolol:

Here's something for Hoka. I couldn't find a better video of something fucked up and mildly funny, but I'm sure there are.

"I can't describe the fuckedupness of a lot of Chileans".

And "a lot" isn't a majority. It's just "a lot". "The majority" is a majority.

Are we cool?

it's easy for people from other countries to be anti-american. i probably would be too if i didn't live here. our foreign policy the last ten years or so hasn't been the greatest. i would still not want to live anywhere else.

I'm not anti-American, btw. If this site were mostly frequented by Koreans, and I learned more about their highs and lows, I'd also say there are a lot of fuckedupness in Korea.

It's not your fault there are a lot of fucked up people in America :noclue:

Speaking of Black Friday sales, about 5 years ago when I was visiting family in Atlanta for Thanksgiving week, my sister-in-law got a bug up her ass to go to a local CompUSA (now long gone) midnight sale on BF to get a deal on a monitor for her son for Christmas. No one wanted to go with her but for equal parts sheer stupidity and curiousness, I went with her. There was a disorganized "line" of about 200 people at 11pm (mostly Asians and whiteys) and when the doors opened at 12, it was a fucking stampede to get in. All semblance of civility went out the door and I had people shoving past me to grab a dvd or a hard drive off a shelf even though I was just kind of hanging back watching and making sure sis-in-law didn't get hurt or needed help carrying her purchase. Overall, that night ranked up there with some of the worst GA pit shows I've been in.

It was a eye opening experience and not in a good way.

My sister used to have one of those, like 10 years ago. I remember being a douche and 'overfeeding' him until it got sick or something. Pushing its tongue repeatedly was the funniest thing on Earth...

"woaaah-wooah-woooah"

and then it'd burp like a maniac while saying "noooo-gustaaa-wooah-woahhhh"
