Perry has never been a Morrissey when it comes to song titles, but his recent song titles have been pretty embarrassing, not to mention lazy and un-mystical.

Splash a Little Water On It. I Like 'em Big. Ultimate Reason. End to the Lies. Applause To You. Wish Upon a Dogstar. Curiosity Kills.

Bleh.

Those are a far cry from Then She Did, Standing in the Shower Thinking, Song Yet To Be Sung and Slow Divers.

Granted, song titles like Mountain song, Obvious and Stop! don't scream out as special either, but at least they were epics in their own right.

The kind that doesn't like to set himself up for disappointment. I'll get around to it eventually, I'm sure. Strays and Satellite Party left my expectations so low, I'd rather just listen to XXX, Ritual, and NS.

Yeah, but that's because those songs are killer. Had Classic Girl and Then She Did never have existed and they were song titles from TGEA (and therefore influenced by Etty), folk would be chucking those on the shit song name list for sure.
