Yeah.. :scared: We'll do ok, but no championship without Matthews. I had a feeling we had the right pieces this year. First time in a long time I had a sneaking confidence in the Blazers. Well, we still have Dame and LA

C's have a real shot at the playoffs. Gritty team. Stevens is an awesome coach, and IT is a cold blooded baller. This rebuild is going beautifully.

The Raptors have been really tanking. 1 win in 11 games.
Oh, and the Leafs are in the bottom 5 of the entire leaugue.

Everyone keeps saying that. While they're great, living by the 3 point will haunt you in the playoffs eventually. I just don't see them going all the way with that team.

The NBA is in the process of a big shift. If the turn is to be completed, a three ball team will win the big one. The really interesting test will be if the Hawks make it.....a REAL old school team that relies on teamwork with the three sprinkled in. I really hope my team makes the 8th seed....I'd love to see a Hawk/C series.

But they're not living and dying by the 3, check out their fast break, points in the paint and their defensive numbers. Living by the 3 doesn't get you a 51-12 record with 19 games left

For a rebuild team, things couldn't be better. Celtics rally towards playoffs. If they get the 8 seed, they will give Atlanta problems. Great coach, great culture, cohesive team, and HUGE draft picks......we are well on our way.

Lakers, not so much. Still a dumpster fire.

Exactly

The only people who say that the Warriors are only a 3 point shooting team are the people who haven't watched their games on a consistent basis or listen to dopes like Charles Barkley and Michael Wilbon. They shoot a lot of 3's, because they are damn good at it, but that's not the only thing they are damn good at this season.

utah has won 5 in a row...

denver has won 4 in a row...

sacramento has dropped to the third worst team behind mn and the lakers.

unlike some i am not hoping for losses for a better draft pick. i do want them to trade the whole team though.

Spurs and Bulls were the only losses

33-2 at home

Beating teams by an average of 15 points at home, with the bench playing the 4th quarter most of the time

The list is a little unfair though because Mitch has headed 4 championship teams in the last 13 years. There should be an * that denotes "Jimmy Buss is the reason for this" as Jeanie negotiated the TV deal and Mitch negotiated the CP3 trade that was nixed.. mean while Jimmy is hellbent on ruining the franchise. :lolol:

This isn't a tribute list. It's an assessment of the current front offices. He's welcome to leave if he feels that his efforts aren't being appreciated by Jimmy. And, it's going to get worse, so I think he might. Frankly, everything in Lakerland is going exactly as I thought from about 18 months agoo, except Mitch. I am shocked he's till there. :hehe:

Well if Jimmy doesn't turn it around by next season then Jeanie has already said he will be replaced as this is year 2 of his 3 year plan to have them back in the playoffs so one more season like this one and no more Jimmy

I know, and I tend to believe her, but Jimmy won't go without a stink.....regardless of what he says. But then the question is then what? It's unlikely but Jerry West would be on my speed dial right now if I were Jeannie.
