Cavs / C's game was good. Good win for the Shammies.

Jokic is putting up unreal numbers looking like he should be playing at the local Y. I love watching him play, its so slow and methodical. You can tell he put in the work on all the fundementals.

It's the free flowing live by the 3 die by the 3 of the game these days. It's exciting because no lead is safe.

naw that's what's killing people's interest...viewership is way down...sure streaming is playing a part too but numbers are down huge and younger people are not watching...down 30% for under 30 folks

But their streamed content is up 10 fold according to Adam Silver.

I'm glad I missed that Celtics Raptors (125 - 71) game last night.

Talk about a New Year's Eve blow out!

I missed it too. Don't take much pride in that one though.

Kawhi making his debut this season this weekend. I still like Kawhi.
Lakers trade makes them better. 20-14 now. Would like to see more AD trying to dominate instead of shooting jumpers. Loved his effort last night on defense. 19 reb 3 stl 3 blks when AD is doing that on the defensive end he is a top 5 player in the league. He's still only 31 it feels like he has been in the league forever and the bubble championship feels like so long ago. AD was supposed to be taking the reigns for the team.

I didn't watch this game. I figured since it was a back-to-back, no way they would win 2 games in a row, Ph well, I guess I should have watched.
The Cs better pick it up, the Knicks are only 2 games behind them. Cavs are still in first place!

No good explanation for this. If it's a lull, we're lazy and soft. If not, we're just soft. I'll be at the Clips game on Wednesday. First time in the new gym

I expect a Celtics blow out tonight. The Lakers still have no clue who they are on offense and defense. Rumors are AD and LBJ think they're a piece or two away from competing but I just don't see anything coming along in the trade market. Battling for the play in is how I see the rest of the season playing out but we'll see.

Jrue, Horford, and KP might be out. We looked horrible last night. Tons of 2 years ago iso ball and lazy (fucking lazy) d. Clips bench wanted to show out and they just went cold late in the game and didn't seem to realize wat OT was all about. If this were 6 weeks ago, I'd agree with you. But as they are right now, it's a Fakes advantage. Plus, we are historically horrible and the 2nd night of a back to back in LA.
On Intuit....I really wanted to love it. Not so much. We were in the second to the last row in the arena and I felt like a billy goat. The grade is insane and obviously designed to optimize optics for the nosebleeds, but I found it disorienting. Also, there was a full blown sensorial visual and auditory assault for the whole fucking game. I felt like I was in a club in Miami and was in desperate withdrawal for glow sticks. It's cashless which was interesting and if you do a facial ID, their tablets identify you while you're 3-4 deep in the line wirelessly. Made for a really easy entrance.

I wonder if Dallas knows something everyone else doesn't? He keeps showing up out of shape.

He's only 25 so he can definitely work on his off court conditioning but the Mavs approached the Lakers for this trade. So we'll see how it goes, thanks for the chip AD. I really liked Christie so sad to see him be apart of this deal. Now we definitely need to go get a center since we're missing one.

I just read about the trade. Very surprising.
Trading one injury prone player for another??
Does LBJ no longer like AD??
Did Dallas do this to avoid a supermax contract??

Great trade. Franchise player and best yet...LeBron had nothing to do with it. All ownership, front office, and it has JJ's fingerprints all over it. AD was emo and glass.

One game in Luka looked expectedly rusty but its scary to think in a couple a months they could theoretically stagger it to where James or Luka is out there to run the offense for a whole 48 total minutes balancing the workload (some of those minutes played together or with the second unit).
