Re: NBA
First game for coach k are the C's. Very similar records.guysmiley wrote:Good move for you guys. Bummer, if you guys were in the East, you'd make the playoffs. The West is too much this year. I like the Kings teams overall.creep wrote:welcome coach karl
Re: NBA
Okc wouldn't pick up the burden of Lopez, who would have been the first post presence ever for the. The space he would've created coupled with his post points would have been great. Durantula won't forget this when free agency knocks on his door.
Re: NBA
Dre was one of my favorite Blazers ever. A pro. He played hard even when we were horrible. Great PG, even if he couldn't jump that high, he has skills. He'll help change the attitude and lead that shitty locker room in Sac. He'll be a player coach and the grumpy old man to yell at the fucking kids.creep wrote:crazy day....kings get andre miller which i like. good guy...expiring contract.
pretty nutty what happened in phoenix. isaiah thomas to the celtics???? who saw that coming after the goran stuff.

which is exactly what we need.guysmiley wrote:Dre was one of my favorite Blazers ever. A pro. He played hard even when we were horrible. Great PG, even if he couldn't jump that high, he has skills. Re: NBA
Missed it as I was out for the night, but it looked like a great game. No excuses....an L is an L, but wtf was that double T on IT? Grats to the rubble that is the Lakers.
Before Sully's injury, I thought we had a real shot at the 8th seed. Need Oly back now big time

Re: NBA
SR you'd get a laugh out of this...all day i was saying "just lose, fuck it who cares that it's the celtics"....we need the L's...then i saw "those guys" hit the court..."fuck it...just win tonight, lose the rest"
byron scott prob threatened the whole team with great bodily harm if they didn 't win...they seemed so relieved in the locker room...has to be the lowliest lakers x celtics game i can remember

Re: NBA
my wife and I went to a play about 2 miles up the road. I didn't think of it once and on the way home I was getting all antsy....stormed the door and asked my kiddo....he told me and my heart sank. Sat down and watched the post game with him and began to play 'on the waterfront' with what could have been. If only IT didn't get tossed... Yada yada Yada....
Re: NBA
Kobe's response to seeing his team be total fucktards after the C win. I'm starting to really like this guy.

Re: NBA
isaiah is making a huge difference in boston. i hated losing him and couldn't understand getting rid if him and then the suns do the same thing. in front of the press and fans he seems like a great guy but heard a lot of stories that he isn't a great locker room guy. dmc did not like him but who really likes dmc. must be a reason the suns dumped him too??
Re: NBA
Yup. This mix of new players really appear to like each other. Ainge has made plays for him in the past and IT has acknowledged he appreciates the faith. The fact that he was riding the bench in Detroit makes me question van gundy even more.
As for cousins, he's appeared to have matured by light years this year. Both his response to Barkley earlier this month and walking away from zebo the other night were really impressive.
:edit : yeah, senior moment there. Surprised the suns dumped him. And also great for the c's is his contract. Makes him very tradable at 7 mil if he doesn't work out.
