Alright Jimmy Butler you made it past Milwaukee. You went right though the Knicks, and you conquered Boston. Lets see what Miami has up their sleeve against the joker

Strus and Duncan could hit from beyond to save their lives last night. Ugh. We'll see how they adjust in G2.

I don't know how close you followed Chicago sports at the time but he wanted out. He didn't like playing in Derrick Rose's shadow so he left.

Been following closely for decades. There has been a lot coming out about that lately. Jimmy got irked towards the end of Derrick's run that he felt like he wasn't practicing and working as hard as Jimmy was. From what I understand, Joakim went into protective mode and went off on him.

The Three Alphas project (Jesus....) was an absolute joke, but more has been coming out recently about what happened after that season. Jimmy went on a trip to Europe right before the draft with an understanding and promise from Gar Forman that he did not want to go anywhere and wanted to rebuild the team with his input involved to bring a championship back to Chicago. He supposedly told Gar that he was actively talking to two Point Guards who were interested in coming to start the process with him (Kyle Lowry and Kyrie Irving). Gar promised they would not make any moves on draft night, and supposedly started hard pushing rumors that Jimmy wanted out as soon as he left the country. This ended with the draft night trade to which Jimmy was blindsided and really really upset about.

So Miami has to go 4-2 to beat the Nuggets.

The Bulls swept Miami in the regular season and were up by 3 with 2 minutes to go in that playoff playin game. If they won they would have salvaged the Celtics

The "we win because" we don't care what people think line is getting really tired.

Can’t complain- I just don’t know if it’s really going to make a difference. Harden is probably gone and Embiid can’t stay healthy. If we can’t get the roster right, it’s another second round exit. I have low expectations haha

 Well, I'm optimistic that NN will bring some positive changes. Of course, as you say getting the roster is a big thing. Perhaps trying load management for Embiid will help with his health. It worked for us with Kawhi.

The Raptors hired Darko Rajakovic as the new head coach.

I'll have to do some research, don't know much about him.

It's kind of nice to see a first championship for a team. Much like the raptors recently. Now everyone has to deal with these guys the next few years.

Now that the season is in hindsight It's impressive looking back that Miami went right through Milwaukee, the Knicks, then Boston. I have high hopes for the 76'ers next year. A healthy Embiid can stop the joker.
