My point is, Cubs, Bears, and Bulls (during most of the 90's) were always sold out. But you could always count on hitting up a Hawks game at any spur of the moment.

btw i think i can say the same thing...i've seen the blackhawks more then any of those teams...don't know if i have ever seen the white socks

kinda like how la used to be when the kings were nothing always people trying to give away kings tickets they play 40+ games at home..i wonder who i have seen more of ..kings or bolts...prob still kings...always went to laker games but not with any regularity until i was living on my own...they are la's hot ticket over everyone...have seen them in the finals a couple times ( first time was when iverson had his career day) and the legendary game 7 at the dawn of the three peat vs portland...and i've seen the kings in dbl ot in game six vs colo in their prime with roy...(my fav player scored the winner) ...watched the chargers lose a lot of playoff games ha! win a couple...lift lt when he broke the td record....saw sandy kofax pitch an old timers game....he wasn't playing around ...lol pitched 3 perfect innings before they pulled him...saw gretzky in his prime...jordan with hair...laker heyday with cap worthy and magic...i've watched boston lose....watched tiger in his prime at riv 3 feet crush it 340 and have the tee..sat in the wrigley on a hot summer day and watched sosa hit 2 yard...watched holyfield and larry holmes fight for the unified belts in vegas...jordan score 40 i still remember the play at 5:30 like it was yesterday (it wasn't)...been to more field's arena's then i care to mention...... lambeau field monday night football after sept 11 attacks vs washington..sticks out...the metrodome they just tore down...thats just random things i have gone to ......sports are some fun shit... :drink: cheers oh wait we have that

Haha they're not even celebrating it anymore out here. I will be back on the left coast next month though, started to launch my own rum business so I'm trying to see if I can get some preorders out there since my 7th batch is done and turned out pretty well.

Lack of depth is starting to show especially on the blue line.

here's a vid of a hockey brawl in Sasketchewan from a few days ago. I love how the crowd is cheering them on.

Flin Flon Bombers and the Melville Millionaires.

This is a minor hockey league.

Too bad the person filming didn;t turn their phone.

They still occasionally have rock concerts there. I went to a Springsteen show there a few years ago and all the outside entrances and stairwells to the floor reeked of piss, the arena floor was like an old semi-paved driveway and there was no discernible AC. It was like a flashback to the mid-80's when I used to catch at least a couple shows there every year. I wish they'd simply renovate the place like they kind of half-assed did with The Forum instead of likely tearing it down in a couple years.

Went and watched Washington play the Kings tonight...God damn Ovechkin and company can skate... their cycle was sick...we were up 3 zip but they stormed back and took us to overtime where we buried it...back to first in the Pacific with the W vs the best team in hockey

Damn fun time...was trying to decide if I wanted to see Ovechkin or get laker tix to applaud Kobe one last time...turns out Kobe was sitting rink side to see Ovechkin as well...great knows great....so when they threw Kobe up on the jumbotron I got a two for one and got to cheer him in staples center one final time

Gotta say it was a good day

Ironically I went to the Kings game tonight where they shut out Canada...er I mean Calgary

I can't speak for all of the Canadian teams but a few are really young and primed for the future.

Sean Monahan and Johnny Gaudreau are damn good on the Flames for instance and are just 21 & 22.

Kings are looking pretty rough right now. Should've never traded Jones to the Sharks, he's got the Kings number.
