Today I had the day off (yesterday we celebrated our Revolution 101 year anniversary) so I went out for a jog around eleven and to my surprise there were a bunch of cute American kids playing soccer. I feel like a dirtbag, they must have been less than 20 years old, but they sure cheered me up...

Tomen aire y bótenlo diciendo ...NOOO EEES MI PEEEDOOO"
something about purifying the soul... meditating... reading that...

do something three times with him...

shout an obscenity

repeat

and another obscenity

repeat

and then it's not my fart? is pedo fart?

Me vale madre is I don't give a shit
A la chingada would be fuck it in this case
No es mi pedo would be something like it's not my problem
See? it's funnier in Spanish
P.S. yup, pedo is fart, but in colloquial language it means problem...like if someone tells you "¿cuál es tu pedo cabrón?" that would be what's your fucking problem asshole?
Oh yeah, it can also mean drunk, as in "estás bien pedo güey"

I live in a 3 storey condo building, my place is on the 2nd floor. The woman who lives above me is a nutty old Spinster.

I could give you multiple reasons why she is crazy, but the most recurrent one is that she has accused me several times of making excessive banging noises throughout the condo. Her specific accusation is that I follow her wherever she goes in her place from my place and then bang on the walls where she is. My wife and I are very quiet people who make little noise in normal circumstances and certainly don't have time to follow her around and bang on the walls.

At one point I gave her my phone number and told her to call me immediately whenever she heard the noises and we could talk about it/determine the cause of it. On two occasions soon after that she called me WHEN MY WIFE AND I WERE FUCKING 100 KMS AWAY AT MY COTTAGE FOR 3 DAYS In A ROW and left a voicemail. I took some satisfaction calling her back and telling her I wasn't even home. She seemed unconvinced.

During the summer her bath tub began leaking through the ceiling and made a huge water stain in my bedroom. Of course she told me that it was my shower even through the condo management company and the contractor who came to fix it told her that each unit's plumbing is under the tub/floor. Still, she told me I had to pay for it. I politely told her that would not be happening. I called the condo management company and they told me they would straighten her out. While talking to the manager guy, who is very nice and professional, he basically told me that the woman is crazy. Even the contractor who came to do the repairs told my wife and I on two separate occasions that he couldn't stand dealing with the woman and actually accelerated the work by a day in order to get away from her.

So, a couple of months ago she put her place up for sale. Good riddance I thought. I saw the "for sale" sign come down about a month ago so I figured she sold the place. :thumb:

Today while walking through the parking lot my downstairs neighbour, who just moved in this summer and I've only talked to him a few times, stopped me to say "So, I heard you made the batty woman upstairs move away". "Oh, really, and how is it that I made her move away", I said. He replied that she told him it was because I follow her around in the condo banging on the walls. :balls: He then proceeded to tell me that he was sick of her always coming to ask him to come to her place to help her with things and that she is generally crazy.

He also told me that she's moving out this Thursday! :yeay:

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

Awesome story. But c'mon, now that she's moving, stop following her around...

I was really bummed out today and was thinking about skipping the Radiohead show (I wouldn't have time and wouldn't want to spend a lot of money blah blah blah), but when I woke up I said to hell with it and bought a ticket. Thom Yorke, you and I got a date on April 17th

So, do the Germans still have the reputation for waking up early to claim all the good beach spots before anybody else?

:lolol: I fear yes but this is more usual on the spanish islands like Mallorca. I always hated that and was ashamed to be of the same nation.... and I would never go to the typical "german places" like Ballermann on Mallorca where they serve german beer and german food - it's a shame and ridiculous.

I guess english tourists do have their reputation too :drink: -- what about that Bandit?
