Thanks for looking out for me.

His one and only show was Rush last year.
Post when you get home young lady so we don't all worry you have been abducted by a serial killer (or run over by someone playing Pokeman).

And don't break curfew.

Oh, and have fun!

closed escrow on a condo yesterday!
After losing my shirt in a divorce some 8 years ago I never thought I'd own a home, so it feels pretty good.

see you at home depot.

Drink heavily and eat lots of Mexican food, it should happen in no time.

My son landed his dream job! :yikes: squeeeeeeeeee!
I am still in shock,as a mother, that he had to move away for it...
He has been there about a month now and is LOVING IT!
He is making more $ out of the gate in a profession he has passion for than I have worked up to in 30 years in a job I despise!
I a beyond thrilled for him and proud that he followed his dreams and never gave up.

what is he doing?
He is under a non-disclosure agreement- so even I don't know the full details of what he is working on exactly-
But I can say; he has been obsessed with video games since a young child and into adulthood...
While he was young I told him "life lesson #1 -find something you love to do and to find a way to make money doing it"
It was my mantra to him his entire life... he listened...
in college he studied & got degrees in music(jazz theory/musician)/sound arts(audio engineer)/computer science(programming & coding)
and has been attending game sound con/ game developers conventions and more for a few years showing demos he built in his
home studio.

In a nutshell- he's an audio nerd and with his music & programing back ground he took it into a whole other level.
He got noticed at the conventions
& was brought in to work with the audio team at a huge startup company working in mixed reality light field technology.
It's all really fascinating actually.

My favorite photo, before climbing up pyramid of the sun. :tiphat:

Have they done work to restore the Quetzalpapalotl Palace?

The courtyard looks great!

I still call it D.F. CDMX is for douchebaggy millenials
The courtyard looks better than from what I recall 14 years ago. Although you cannot walk around it as before.

Cooked my first nopalitos and they were really good. Don't have any pictures because we ate them all.

Looking into purchasing and running a relatively iconic dive restaurant here in Santa Monica. It's intriguing and nerve wracking at the same time.

Getting all the demographics, lease, P&L's, monthly revenues, and analyzing right now. So much found money to be had and it's a running restaurant which allows for immediate revenue while TI and TI allowances can be made.
