It makes for a pretty shitty day.
I'm alone with my head. I'm already in liver failure, so I can't just get hammered.
And tomorrow I'm going to be the one who has to deal with all of the formalities, and such.

He'd had 2 heart attacks a about ten or more years back. He still smoked a lot, and drank beer all day. So while it's hardly unbelievable, there was nothing to indicate it was imminent.

Not good to dwell on it tonight, could use distraction. I'll have all the reality I can handle and then some tomorrow.

I haven't kept up on Etty's stupid shit.

I hadn't been paying attention to what Jane's was up to since Xiola board went down. See Navarro on TV occasionally. I've written Perry off as an artist, and Dave while working with him. Interested in what Eric's up to, and Perk, away from Perry.

Sorry to hear, not fun stuff. Hopefully the day and the arrangements are occupying your mind and time.

If you don't have 10 hours for hype's cat video, (well worth the first 3 minutes, at least, btw) here is Maru. You can never go wrong with Maru, even if you've seen him/her a hundred times.

And if you are well familiar with Part 1, I highly recommend Part II for multiple viewings....

Sorry to hear AC. No distraction but been through a similar situation over Easter time. Not to be too morbid about the whole thing but I came to the conclusion that over the next 10 years I think most of us are going to go to more funerals than weddings. A shit factor of life, but in some respects a normality. I hope you have great memories of your dad and remember him fondly. All the best to you.

Hey Canine, sorry to hear about your dad's passing and especially the circumstances surrounding it. Growing old and seeing off our parents is inevitably the way things go. The thing is, you still have your life to live, just need to fill it with positive people and things to get you through the rough spots.

Maybe there was some undercurrent brewing that I didn't sense on a conscious level, that had me seeking out the people I had known online at 1% & Xiola years ago. Many, whom I met in the real world at shows. Because both of my closest friends , and my closest relative were all out of town for this.
