SR,
it's a painting called Christmas In America (1919), by Czech artist Alphonse Mucha (pronounced Moo-kah), considered by many to be the father of Art Nouveau. He's famous for his illustrative commercial art, which is more graphic, but he took his fine art painting more seriously.
Here are examples of seasonal pieces in his typical Art Nouveau style:

Oh, and happy Dies Natalis Solis Invicti to any Romans kicking around. The Roman sun god Sol Invictus (the Unconquered Sun) had his birthday on December 25 on the old calender, which falls a few days earlier on our calender, on the solstice. He didn't color Christmas in such a profound and lasting way as the pre-Christian religions of Northwestern Europe, but he drove a pretty slick sun chariot across the sky pulled by flying horses, so that makes him a lot like Santa Claus.
