NFL
Re: NFL
I like it. They signed Jerious Norwood earlier in the week from the Falcons too.The Rams will finalize a deal with free agent Cadillac Williams Wednesday, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen. The Rams wisely didn't stop their search for a backup running back when they signed Jerious Norwood Tuesday. While Williams and his bionic knees certainly aren't explosive, he'd be capable of carrying a decent-sized workload if Steven Jackson were to go down. Caddy could also end up spelling Jackson on some third downs, but would barely get any early-down reps as long as S-Jax is healthy.
Re: NFL
I've been a Raiders fan since 1983. Does that make me a twat? Don't ask me why but at my school I think most people who were into NFL supported about 6 different clubs. Raiders, Broncos, Packers, Redskins, Dolphins and 49ers. I sided towards Los Angeles. I remember Mike Haynes, Jeff Plunkett, Ray Guy, Chris Barr, Marcus Allen!! I think a lot of people over here were obsessive about Montana and Marino.
And I had to settle for Marc Wilson

Re: NFL
I'm excited about the Saints.
However, the Eagles are beginning to look pretty damn scary this year.

The lions are gonna be good, finally. Maybe even 9-7 good.

Re: NFL
the skins are going to suck this year! no qb. no depth on the o line. pretty shitty set of receivers.
i am excited about the future though. i like the way they are managing the salary cap and that they are not overpaying the sexy free agents (which i think could fuck philly this year).

Since I made my pissy post the '9ers have gone out and made some very solid pickups...cornerback Carlos Rogers
center Jonathan Goodwin
safety Donte Whitner
