That's nothing...
In Paris’ history, the flame was only extinguished twice. The first happened in 1998 when France won the FIFA World Cup. A Mexican was in Paris and was upset over the French victory. He was drinking all night and while walking around the Arc De Triomphe, he decided to pee on the flame. Of course he was caught and was later sent back to Mexico by the French authorities with a stamp on his passport saying to never come back.

Oh, damn. Another Mexican drunk fan...
A young Mexican man fell overboard from the 15th story (over 150 feet) of the MSC Divina cruise liner while at sea after a stop in the port city of Fortaleza. Mexico played its second World Cup at the north-eastern city against Brazil on Tuesday.

Haha yeah! I love suarez's passion, work rate and how happy he is when he scores. Both goals last night I thought "good for you son!"

Gerrard will be well into his 40s and most pundits will still be talking about what a great leader he is and how England must rely on him to succeed. Ever since I started watching football I've seen through that image, only to find a guy who can't handle the pressure of being a leader at the top level, who can't really motivate his team mates and who will always screw up when he's needed the most. Just this season it happened with Chelsea and now with Uruguay. I don't approve of his presence in England at all.

But Suárez, what a monster. I was also glad Rooney managed to score (at last).

Just in case I die on the way back, this is my last picture. Just me being sexy in front of the National Stadium in Brasilia. The sky here is incredibly beautiful.

Take care, people. Enjoy!

 Nice one, have a save trip home!

I really enjoyed Uruguay, they have passion and power and the victory is well-deserved.
I guess Greece-Japan was the worst match so far - from what i've read, until now i thought that one went to Nigeria-Iran

England have ZERO world class players. This is the biggest stumbling block. That, and the fact they're playing football 15 years out of date.

I feel for England... the media got everyone so hyped and they never really stood a chance. Now they need to try and avoid finishing without any points...

It's good to be back home now. Tomorrow, we'll see if Chile manages to beat the Netherlands and, more importantly, if Chile can avoid Brazil in the first knockout round.

Larry, world class foreigners have killed English football. Cast your mind back to the 70's and 80's when Liverpool, Forrest even Aston Villa were winning European cups. EUROPEAN CUPS!! All with home grown players. You look at all the top premier league teams from the past 10/15 years and 99% of them are foreign. This is why my love for our league is being sapped. I actually think the Championship can be more interesting than the Premier League on occasions. Ultimately this is why England will always be shite at major tournaments. Unless there is a radical overhaul on foreign players.

Goeff Cameron was at fault for both of Portugal's goals and his mistakes likely cost the US a chance at getting to the knock out round. So now they need Portugal to win by a goal or Ghana and Portugal to draw or hope that Germany doesn't utterly destroy them. What a heart breaking way to end that game.

You are absolutely right.

While forbidding foreigners would affect the 'spectacle' and is not an idea I'd love, I've been saying for quite a while that there should be a quota. 'You can't have less than 6 British players on your XI' or something similar. Teams starting with less than 3 English players and zero academy players is ridiculous.
