if larry wasnt such a full blown asshole i'd probably help him out getting his foot in the door over here..
theres two guys fresh from chili who work at the auto shop 2 miles from my house...
they told me the motto over in chili is.." Where the weather is sunny and the people are shady..."
i'm pretty sure these guys were only hired because they dont have a problem ripping people off.

Our field techs don't have company cars, they have to use their own vehicles but get $450 a month car allowance plus mileage. Only the guys who drive the company service vans have a gas card.

I needed one of my Philly techs to go to No Jersey on a call and he told me no because his car eats too much gas. He drives a BMW 550. Well motherfucker, go buy yourself a fucking Ford Fusion or a certified used Toyota for work and shut up. Someone like that who's job involves driving and decidedly drives a gas guzzler get 0 sympathy from me when gas goes over $4 a gallon.

I usually don't even look at gas prices, but I did today. $4.90/gallon Premium ($4.69 regular) in my neighborhood. Luckily is still only cost about $12 to fill up the bike.

Over 4 bucks a gallon in NY. 10-40 cents more per gallon if you use a credit or debit card instead of cash. I'm going to go super local, Romeo! How ridiculous is the gas station at the corner of Long Beach Rd and Atlantic Ave? Last time I was there they had the hugest price increase for credit/debit cards vs. cash. It was about 40 cents, I've never seen the credit price per gallon that much higher.

I always thought it was illegal to charge different prices based on payment method, I guess I was wrong cuz every gas station does that now

unfortunately my car takes premium so i am paying around $4.20 at discount places.

the credit card surcharge is annoying. i would carry more cash but that involves me going in the store to pay and then going back in again for change. i'm too impatient for that.

$3.85 per gal for regular. They offer a .10 cent per gal discount on certain days if you pay cash.

$3.65 per gallon for regular
$4.16 per gallon for premium

This does not seem terrible compared to what some of you are paying. What gets me is tolls. To drive from Baltimore to NYC and back is about $110 on my EZPass. $110 for 360 roundtrip miles seems insane to me! :balls:

I live right by there. That guy is SUCH a thief!! I never get gas there!!

And he changes his prices 2 to 3 times a day! I leave in the morning and he'll be $3.87, come home from work and it's $3.98.
You're better off going down to Sunoco over by Trader Joe's. He's always a few cents less than Gulf and same price for cash/charge.

And I think you are right, I believe it was either Al D'Amato or someone had passed a bill making cash/credit the same price. But now we are talking at least 20 years ago  Because D'Amato has been out of office since 1999
So that bill could of expired and was never renewed

since we are all criminals here in california we have to enter our zip code at the pumps. does everyone have to do that? i remember we passed a law outlawing that but something must have happened because they still do it.

i remember the days when you filled up and then paid. i also remember 99 cent gas. :oldtimer:

Paid $4.09 today :banghead:
Just got a new SUV and it's verrrry thirsty but I luckily don't have drive too far on a daily basis. I. Need to get to BJs for gas but it's not very convenient.
And I couldn't believe it when I was in FL last week there was $1.40/gal difference between the gas station closest to the airport and the Wawa 1/4 mile further! $3.89 at Wawa and $5.29 at the other place wtf?
