Yeah someone I jam with all the time is a huge Saints fan and I informed him that Drew loved SD and will wear the bolts and the powder blues ALWAYS!!!

But yeah I'm rooting for the Saints.

Also KV do not forget about BIG SEDRICK ELLIS and Charles Brown from USC!!!

Thing about Tebow is... prior to last night, I thought he was terrible as an NFL QB. HORRIBLE. And his passing has always been brought into question.

But after last night... with those 5 great deep passes on one of the best D's in the NFL today... how can anyone criticize him? Dude straight up pushed the Steeler's shit in last night. Convincingly. That was one of the best playoff games I've ever seen. The stuff movies are made of.

It was a great game, but I still wouldn't call a Tebow a great QB. At least not in the traditional sense. He still missed a number of easy throws. He still looked bad at times. What he has is an incredible and likely unmatched will to win, and average skills at best. I still wouldn't want to build a franchise around him. But would I take him over 95% of NFL QBs needing a score in the 4th? Probably.

Best thing the team could have done! I'm liking our new GM,, no-nonsense guy who isn't gonna put up with Hue, or anyone elses shit.. I have faith that he'll build a championship team.. The 18 years he spent in GB can't hurt!

Welcome to the 21st century Raiders :aoa:

For sure,, though I'd hate to see them move (and pray they don't),, I can't fault Mark Davis for doing whats best for his team.

Hope so. Rams now need to work out lease situation with St. Louis. Negotiations begin in February. Then draft time with the potential for a major trade for the #2 spot for a team wanting RGIII. Going to be a crazy off season.

That lease means the entire City of St. Louis bending over and taking one if they think the Rams are going to stay.

Yeah I mean I hope for St Louis sake they can work something out because it would suck for them to lose the Rams like LA did

Untrue. There was a similar deadline a few years ago and the city gave them 30 million to upgrade. Where was the outrage then? The news is making a bigger story out of it this time because this is the deadline that the Rams could opt out of the lease on. The dome needs upgraded. There's a reason we lost out on the DNC in 08 and dont get Final Fours. If they cheap out because of tax payer protest Im going to fucking lose it. Theyre taking the god damn money from people regardless. Quit spending it on bullshit and keep the fucking Rams home.

people don't realize how much a pro sports team does for a city financially. they are a great investment.

the kings are trying to get a new arena built and there is a lot of opposition. the arena can be paid for by parking revenue from city owned garages and by billboards, cell phone towers and arena naming rights. people are crying saying that the money from parking could be used to help the homeless or to build a museum or some shit like that. the revenue from the parking would be zero just like it is now if there was no arena. no arena = no parking revenue. you can't spend what isn't there. this new downtown arena will also bring in shitloads of money to a struggling downtown. it's a great investment.
