Jeanie just hired Magic to do the following:
Johnson's duties will include, but not be limited to, advising ownership on all business and basketball matters, collaborating with coaches, evaluating and mentoring players, assessing future franchise needs, and helping ownership to determine the best path for growth and success.

Oh course we get the Celtics on a back to back (3 games in 4 days) and Boston has the day off before :conf:

As for magic...I don't know...He is too reactionary, too emotional...We know he doesn't like Jimmy and that he'll prob force him and Mitch out...I mean fuck first year no Kobe..We have as many wins as last year before February...This is progress...We are relying on a team full of kids to pan out...I get Jeanie is trying to do what her dad would do...He stayed the course after shaq and we sucked for years till 09 we sucked for a long time before kobe....It's not like we are beating golden state with any free agents...It's a slow process...Everyone needs to chill out...We mortgaged our future...Now we have to ride it out..We will lose our first round pick in next two years...so nothing to trade, plus not like we need another kid...Deng and mozgov contracts don't have trade worth for another season or two when then become assets as expiring contracts..All we have is swaggy and Lou will...How could we trade them and make us better? Prob couldn't.....Time...We wait for time

I just thought the timing was interesting because Jeanie has mentioned holding Jimmy to that 3 year promise and at the end of this season it will be 3 years since he said that. I agree on Magic if Jeanie really wanted to do what her dad would do she would call the Logo and pick his brain. Its not like he would turn his back on Jeanie if she asked he has said as much. You already know my thoughts on Jimmy but Mitch is the Logo's protege and he has done a good job over the years, if Jimmy is forced out its due to his promise but Mitch deserves a chance to try to build around the kids.

I see spots of brilliance from Randle sometimes I see him and he is a mix of LO and Draymond and others he is a 21 yr old kid. DLo is coming along I thought Byron hurt his development. Ingram is the one I'm most intrigued with.

Zubac has been playing really well I can see why Mitch was so happy he fell. As the L's pile up hopefully Luke is going to play the kid more and get him 30 mins a game

:lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

just when the lakers seem to be rebuilding they hire magic.

with his success as coach of the lakers and host of the magic hour i'm sure he will be the gm in no time.

He's likely going to keep Mitch in place as he likes the job Mitch has done and sees Jimmy as the problem so not all is bad on this as I think he will let Mitch do his job and stay out of his way.

PRE-excuses? Back to back.... :boobs:

In other news, magics a shift to kick jimmy the fuck out street. Good move but magic has a lot of plates in the air. We'll see. As for the cs matchup, young legs can hurt us if Luke insists on serious d. Again we'll see

Oh I'm not making excuses Danny did a great job fleecing other teams and turning that rebuild around really quick. I would rather Luke play the kids and roll with the results the rest of the season they need to develop and the only way that happens is with court time.

That was directed at me with us getting the C's on a 3 of 4 b2b...Wasn't an excuse though...You should beat us regardless right? Complete dumpster fire vs the superstar C's no?

Well, regardless....yup. :hehe:

As for the superstar cs, I do like the sound of it, but I never said it. I said IT is a superstar. And he is.

Important game for both teams for different reasons. We've dropped far too many in the last couple of years to the fakes and this is the first game after the new fire dept showing up

dunno. I'd say one fleecing with IT. Some good picks and some seriously world class coaching. And we still have some serious assets. A couple of years to 18.

A bit sloppy in the end, but 133 points after putting up 144 against them the game before? I'll take that.

As long as LBJ is in the lEast at this point the C's will not see the finals whether we like it or not... Also Kawhi (fuck it they're my adopted 2nd team) would shut IT down and the C's have nothing else. If that series were to happen it would be over in 3 Stevens would give up.

2 years, but not as currently constructed. We are one player away. As for KL, I got nothing but lebron in his 16th year will be showing more cracks than we are seeing now

If it weren't for the bob Ferguson order which was the move of the night, I'd be pissed at the court presses and double teams of IT simply to prevent him from 3 straight 40's in what was a lost game. Chump ball. Don't know why we didn't give up the cross court to him either. :noclue:

IT is in the serious MVP discussion now. Dude is ruthless.

Fuck LA.

IT is a great player I honestly didn't see this in SAC of PHX but he is great I have to give credit where its due. I still stand by Kawhi though he is probably my favorite player in the league.
