I've been pounding "Sparkling Ice Black Raspberry" lately which is basically carbonated, flavored water. You can get 10 of them for 10 bucks at most stores.

Great feeling to tell the wife that this all paid off. She got to meet her idol. Fucking killer dude. Don Matsuo.

High energy night, new bassist(fucking great). First time in Japan I didnt feel like the foreigner. I was a local and the (smaller crowd) gave us love. And we got paid! Amazing considering almost every club is pay to play here. We don't do that so often so maybe we are the most punk of the city?

My little daughter won an award of merit today for her artwork entitled "Imagine Flying to Heaven" .
This kid never. stops. drawing.
Even though she had told me "I don't really want to go public yet Mom", her friends encouraged her to submit something to the contest.
Then she did. (see what I did there )
Seeing her break out of her shell a little and the smile on her face while she graciously received accolades from strangers today made my day.

finally got to taste the mighty Vanilla Coke! turns out you can buy it here and yeah, its pretty damn tasty. Better than the original? probably not in the long run but a cool alternative every now and then yes

it's strange to me that something like coke goes well with food at all. It's like liquid candy. Why does that work? Taking a bite out of a burger and then eating three gummy bears and then immediately back to the burger would not work....see what I'm saying...fascinating

I ran a very unscientific experiment a while ago: I find that when I'm thirsty or having a meal, Coke is just delicious, refreshing and very satisfying, BUT when I'm not thirsty at all or don't feel like a drink, it's just awful.. I dunno what this is cos it's not the same with coffee or milk or water but I found it a chore to drink the Coke when I didn't really feel like it.

Lime Coke was a thing here for a while, it was delicious, moreso than Vanilla Coke IMHO but it's gone now (sad face). VC is delicious, but very sweet..

Also, Pepsi sucks, and should be banned. It's the worst.

So I get various alerts from Google to my Gmail on a daily basis... Every once in a while I get one of these....
