Anything a team can do in a half can be done against them in the next half...See Frank Reich...Too much is made of Superbowl records...51 games is such a small sample size...Less then 3 reg season weeks...Great comeback...Feel bad for falcons D, their O couldn't give them any rest... And while the pats D was in the same boat in the first half, the hour rest at halftime was huge

NFL should definitely switch it rules now, at least I hope

That was an amazing finish and I was happy to see Tom get #5 not a Pats fan but I have always liked Brady and after that witch hunt it was nice to see them end it with him getting #5.

i'm still pissed off about that game and i'm not a falcons fan. in field goal range that would put the game away....let's pass the ball instead of running it...sack :drink:

so many mistakes.

it made me really appreciate being a fan of teams that suck. last time i felt like this was the 2012 superbowl what the 49ers lost. i don't take bad losses very well.

before that...

Gotta be honest checked in here because I figured you would react like this...30 minutes at least ride it out dude :pat: :pat: <--- ironically named pat
At the watch party I was at I said that the Pats were just getting in their own way and that we've seen crazier shit happen in the past (UT / USC game as an example) ended up winning some money too cause I bet someone the over/under at half that they would finish over.

Las Vegas Raiders?

Doesn't that just piss off the fan base in Oakland?......and errrr.....Los Angeles?

Raiders have been trying to get a new stadium since before they left Oakland to come to LA in the early eighties...Much like the chargers, the cities couldn't afford to keep them. Tons of butthurt raider fans who will get over it once football season starts and be booking flights to Vegas once they move.... LA has zero reason to cry, once the chargers came there was no chance for the raiders to come here.

As for the chargers and their "no fans in LA" they have sold out season tickets and now have a wait list...Granted they are playing in the smallest stadium around but I knew limited seats would create high demand...Smart call on their behalf... While the raiders will play a few more seasons in Oakland with a furious fan base...All the tatted up raider fans crying on TV make me laugh...You put corporate logos on your skin then get pissed when they move in a smart business move... It's PRO football...Not some local highschool moving...Don't see people getting many McDonald's or Walmart tattoos :bored:

Glad to hear. I wonder how many of those tix are company PR. Too, the Raider fans here and the more relaxed fan folk will flock to Vegas for fun and a game.

Makes no odds to me them moving as I'll just sit in my living room watching them from 5,000 miles away as usual

I just don't think an NFL franchise will be successful in Las Vegas. It will be an odd home crowd. I would guess the visiting team will get a lot of people traveling to Vegas to watch their team but will the Raiders have a big following from the people that live there? The Las Vegas Metro area is pretty small.

Green Bay does fine :noclue:....A lot of people travel for games they'll pull from norcal and socal big time...Guy who had chargers Tix next to me for years drove from Vegas...Plus all the casinos will give tickets away... It's only 10 games...Charger games were always packed with raider fans

You know they are the exception. West Coast fan base is much different. How were those Raider crowds in Los Angeles which has nearly 10 times the population?

Even if they're shitty in Vegas you'll get plenty of visiting team fans. It's a great excuse for a weekend in Vegas.

Is the state of Nevada offering some tax breaks or some other incentives to get an NFL and an NHL team in a short period of time ?

I do give the NFL a better chance than an NBA team in Vegas.

I just wonder how many Raider fans from California (at least the ones out on bail or on parole) are willing to hitchhike or carjack all the way to Vegas to see their team.

I went to see them in Arizona 5 or 6 years ago and id say it was about 40-50% Raiders fans.. Most Raider fans outside the Bay Area seem to like the move from what I'm seeing

Is there any 'fierce' rivalry between NFL fans? What I mean is enough to cause trouble. Everyone knows the trouble we have between fans over here, I was just wondering if there was much hatred between certain teams in the states?

LA Rams and Raiders in the 80's? Jets and Giants? That kind of thing. Or does everyone get on?
