Re: NFL
And they played the Seahawks down to the wire with Kellen Clemens at QB. No one would have predicted it, but I think most hardcore Rams fans that know the team in and out were aware of the potential.creep wrote: yeah but the texans suck and the colts are one of the best teams in the league and they destroyed them at home. no one saw that coming.
And the Texans weren't in full on self destruct mode until the Rams man handled them.
The defense has finally hit their stride, and Tayvon looks to have finally broken out. Add in Stacey and an energized Clemens and I don't think any team can look past the Rams at this point.
And sure, I'll talk play-offs. How about this year? They're two games behind your 9ers who looked bad on Sunday, right as the Rams may be getting hot.
I wouldn't be shocked if the Rams won 5 out of their next 6. I also wouldn't be shocked if they lost 5 of their next 6. They're a young team, and that's the nature of the beast. Let's hope that was their grow-up game and if nothing else they spoil the hopes of some other teams.

Well, when youre getting blown out left and right and then suddenly figure out how to be competitive, it would follow that faith in the team would follow the same pattern. I was pissed after the 49ers loss, and anyone that watched it would understand why. The team absolutely crapped the bed in every way imaginable. And this was following two other ugly losses. But I've still attended every game since.

Re: NFL
the eagles will win it. they seem to be getting it together with foles and have a pretty easy schedule left. the cowboys have an easy schedule too. it would be great if it came down to the last game and romo blows it somehow.
Re: NFL
The Giants will win the east at 8-8....maybe 9-7. Or, they'll get lit up by Green Bay's third string QB this week and their 3 game winning streak along with their season will be over. Either one of those scenarios is equally possible with them.clickie wrote:So who's gonna win the NFC East, Dallas or Philly? Who has the better defense? they both suck.

Pretty sure the 9'ers wouldn't have lost yet either if this was who they played so far.,

Oh I expect Denver to win tonight but Alex Smith is not playing bad ball, he is doing what is asked of him just like he was before he got knocked out last season.clickie wrote:Juana wrote:Welp the 9ers have no shot at a top seed in the NFC now since they're not going to win their division now. Should be a hell of a Monday nighter.
Unlike last night when everyone knew Denver would win.
Cam Newton collects fucking trophies without effort. He's already proven he could do it in high school and college, all he needs is one more.
If they pull this off tonight, get ready for everyone in Carolina jumping on the bandwagon.
