I'm working for a major non-profit, helping a manager set up and run a store that deals in selling donated, refurbished and salvaged building materials and appliances/fixtures. Driving a forklift, handling customers/donors, managing the floor, doing pick-ups, pricing etc. It's going to be great! I was doing contract Architect work, but not enough stuff was coming through, so this will be fantastic because I can still do some moonlighting.

YEAH!

Creep...... I am the luckiest man alive.

I will not only be going on my mongolia vacation at the beginning of july for 2 and a half weeks; I will be going on a 31 day himalayan trek with my dad around Annapurna in nepal in october. They agreed to have all leave without pay........... :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :yikes:

This last two years I started doing the things I wanted to do, instead of the things I felt I had to do; and worked my ass off for free...... It's all paying off right now, all thanks to the people I have surrounded myself with and ESPECIALLY my wife............ :thumb:

wow i'm jealous. not many spouses would be cool with their husband/wife going on a month long hike. when i used to read i read about five books on hiking nepal. for the longest time i really thought i would want to do that but i've realized that the way i am i would probably be miserable. i'm great with day hikes but not anything more than that.

I somehow ended up bringing home a 12 string guitar. I went out to watch a friend's ballet show and walked by this. It was so cheap I couldn't leave without it. A 70's Yamaha with case for under $90. Yes please. Always wanted a 12 string. They sound huge. I've been playing Zeppelin 3 all day since I got home. :agree:

My last day of being without work...... THE MAN will own me after today.

I never understood people who thought they were trapped because they have a wife........ what a lousy life that would be. :hs:

A wife should be a partner so that you both may be strong and grow together.

 Relax, man... I was just trying to say something stupid. As usual, I succeeded. Plus, I didn't mean that being married is like being trapped; I implied that when you get married, you own your wife.

Glad you're a productive member of society once again  :bday:
