Woke up at 6, read the news, had breakfast, did laundry and started working, all of this while listening to great music.

it's 9.35 and my day looks pretty pleasant. I'm gonna take a shit and light some incense.

PS: I took a shit and there was some corn in it. This is the best day.

This year we have a presidential election and since last week all four candidates started their campaigns. Thanks to twitter and facebook a lot of people have come up with very funny images. This one is my favorite of today
Image
Peña Nieto is the candidate from PRI (the party who ruled for 60 something years).
Robin: I will vote for Peña Nieto because he is so handsome.
Batman: He's going to steal from you, not fuck you. Don't be stupid Robin

Have you heard of Rius? The cartoonist who did ABChé, Mao for beginners, Cuba for beginners and others? That's how cartoonists who work for political magazines and journals are. They're very good.

It is, just read it a week ago. I don't know if you can get those in Canada, but I'm sure I saw them at a store in Berkeley. I know he has some of them translated.

I can probably find a copy somewhere. There are a lot of Marxists in my town (professors), who have a lot of old books they often give to the local used bookstores, or to students.

Amazon has Eduardo Del Rio Rius books but not that particular one.

<edit> Scribd has made my day: http://www.scribd.com/doc/36257433/Rius-ABChe

I think they had burritos and tortas there...Don't remember the name. Something Vallarta?
We had to go there because I didn't have any id on me and I tried to go to a bar, even if I told them I wasn't going to drink anything, they said no.

If you did by chance find an English one, I could probably send you some money for it through Paypal (I guess Mexico doesn't have Interac email money-transfers?). Don't go looking for it though... I may be able to find an English one yet (even if it's at the university library).

I think it would be easier for you to find one in English, but I'll look for one. Maybe there is a bookstore in San Miguel that sells them in English. Don't worry, I would love to go there and if I happen to find one I'll let you know.
