Of course it also says the set times are approximate, but obviously they're targeting a set length of about an hour and half. I don't recall any Jane's show I've ever attended lasting longer than an hour. Anyone else? I know the vibes show was long because of the jamming, but from a full tour standpoint I dont remember them having regular sets this long.

I'll give you 70, but 90? Their sets are almost always 11-12 songs plus an encore. 90 Minutes seems like they'll be playing 2-3 songs more than usual.

The 2 shows I've attended, 2009 and 2011, have had 12 songs.

90% of the recordings from the past few years fit on one cd. one cd can hold 74 minutes.

90 minutes just means that's the time allotted for them to be onstage.

They will come out 10 minutes late (down to 80 minutes), and after some of the talking between songs and the 5 minutes between the last song and the encore of Jane Says, it will be 70 minutes.

Most of the shows I've ever seen Jane's play have run between 70 - 90 minutes tops which includes any encore break. A lot of recordings usually edit out audience noise between the main set and encore (and even between songs) to fit the show on one cd. Off the top of my head, I think most of the 2001 and especially the Martyn-on-bass 2002 shows were the longest sets they've ever played right at 90 minutes, partially due to the 10 minute mid-set break while they set up the 2nd stage and during '02 because they played several covers and instrumental breaks.

Perry takes breaks during Aint, Ted, and Three Days. Plus Stealing and Tales wll be downtemp for him.

He'll give some solid energy for 2-3 songs though.

I'm not down with the "faggotry" image. It's offensive to start. At the same time, the problem isn't Perry's gender-bending presentation. His outfits are hardly even that anymore, as he prefers "fashion" that prepackages the bending, and thus, bends not at all. When Perry actually delivered the "faggotry" (rather than just buying it), he was remarkable, amazing, shamanistic, etc. (Think of the XXX cover portrait in a corset.)
