cool signature matz, you should tell your story on getting this. im sure it was interesting an means a lot to ya. ive bumped into him a couple times and it was always magical
i had a conundrum on getting this poster, which i did for $18, so wasn't sure whether perrys signature was real or the poster was real
if the posters a fake the guy did a lot of research to pick this date which happened Sunday, August 26, 2007, Meridian, Houston, TX or if its real it sucks he ruined this poster with his scribble. plus i cant find any mention on the 'special' band MINK anywhere

The signature itself means a lot to me, but the story behind how I got it isn't very magical: Went to ebay.co.uk and picked it up for 8 pounds!
Only way, I'm pretty sure Dave has been to Denmark for the last time in his life

When I was at Lollapalooza that summer, Perry hopped up on a table in the middle of nowhere in the park and did a couple songs with 1 or 2 members of the band Mink on guitar. That band did indeed open their shows for the summer.

Besides tix to the Warfield show- I was ecstatic to find Gift on DVD since I haven't had a working VHS to watch my original copy on for years & years.
To best of my knowledge Gift was never "officially" released on DVD because I have looked over the years- it has a cool little menu & scene selection.

I wonder why they made a bootleg from this show.
There are better sounding and better played shows out there?
Ok, it’s not 1.0, but I hope they make a good quality bootleg of the hammerstein show

Do you specifically like the idea of a bootleg with the artwork etc? I can hook you up with the Hammerstein show if you need it..

Fuck no! If I wanted crackle to interrupt my listening experience I would open a pack of chips/crisps and fuck around with that while listening to the music...

Not a vinyl fan huh?
I am :)
I have the recording of the show. Still the live show I listen the most to.
I'd love to have it on vinyl ...

Ha, no.. Not my thing.. Can't help you with the vinyl, maybe Ebay but I bet that would be expensive.... Drifter might be able to help you, or Filth..

I don't think it exists on vinyl.
That was my question to begin with.
Apparently they just recently booted the Tipitina 1989 show (Idiots Rule) on vinyl. That's what drifter just bought.
Then I wondered why they decided to boot that show (in 2015?). Why not a better sounding show, like Hammerstein.
It's just an odd choice, and a not so common show, or am I wrong?
