New here.

But here are some of mine. I have a lot more, just got to dig it all out...

I paid £15 for the Navarro a few years back and then paid to have it framed. Belonged to an ex UK Parker distributer and was used at trade shows in the '90s.

Image

Private shot of perry I bought for £3 from a photographer and it came framed

Image

I got this off Ebay a few years back for about £20 and had it framed ( I have an original Kozik somewhere as well, but its unframed and in storage)

Image

A few Porno shirts form years ago

Image

Signed by Dave & Perry bought for £1 off Ebay!

Image

last on is a birthday present form my sister last year.

Image

Got a load of rare vinyl / back stage passes / flyers / stickers / bootlegs as well that I'll try and photograph later and share

pretty funny to see Dave in that Parker add, in his instructional video he calls em the the most hideous guitars he's ever seen

Yeah I remember seeing that one on the VHS tape way back when. I have to agree as I owned one for a few years and it was f*cking uncomfortable and sounded gash.

i've never owned one and i don't want to but a guitarist i played with for years played one almost exclusively and it always sounded great. he was all into high end low watt designer amps (like allesandro) and a very finely tuned pedal board. and he got great sounds out of the thing. the piezo is pretty cool. they're just not for everyone but i do think they came up with a pretty good guitar. by the way, some time ago he switched almost exclusively to veillette citron guitars and now owns more of them than anyone. they're cool too. on both, for strat players, there's a lot of noise to be made. for me, if i were a strat player, i'd still play a strat, or maybe a g & l or tom anderson. but i'm an SG player so i play SG's and PRS's.

oh, my last jane's buy was a ticket, for 10 bucks, to a jane's concert that was entertaining but sort of lazy and tired.

Tracy "Spacey T" Singleton, formerly of Fishbone, used to play Parkers exclusively. The sounds he was able to pull out of those guitars was incredible.

Primus started around the same time as Jane's. They took a 12 year break from 2000-2012 and then they come back with stuff like this, which is on par with much of their classic songs. Amazing, that's how you do it. Not all great musicians fade with age or make fools of themselves. Comforting

Here is my vinyl.

Image

The clear one was signed for me by the band after a show in London.

Image

Image

My Navarro PRS and a not very exciting to look at but ex Navarro RG550 that I managed to get my hands on in '91.

Image

A friend of my brother owns the 'gold baby' off the cover of ritual as he was on tour with them in the UK and US working as a journalist... That I covet!

I have a ton of other stuff up in storage in my attic that I'll try and take pics of and share later as well.

EDIT

Just found this behind my guitar case!

Yup, you can see him playing it around '89 and I got it through a very good friend that toured with them. I have zero provenance, but then I'm never going to sell it. So not an issue for me at all.

I also have some great footage of the band doing a 'private show' backstage at Reading in 2011 (without Perry as his voice had gone, they pulled out of playing the show) my brother shot on his iPhone in a Portacabin as well.

Just don't want to upload it to Youtube as its private.

But if anyone knows a secure way I can share vids so they cannot be downloaded, passworded and can be watermarked etc Then I would share.

Just dug these out as well. They were in my PRS case.

I have a box full buried deep somewhere in my attic with more. I will try and dig them out and add them.

Nice, what else you got?

I am missing a few boots and I never bothered with anything off of 'Strays'. I'll never buy "The Mephisto Demos" as its a load of rubbish. Plus I missed a few 12" from Ritual out of my picture as I left them upstairs by accident.

I need more colours of Jane's and wouldn't mind a few of the test presses out there as well.

speaking of psi com on vinyl ... is that a newer vinyl or the original pressing? .. i have been curious about the 'speed' as the cd sounded slowed down and I had a tape from the original pressing that was faster and sounded really good .. i kind of assumed my tape was just typically the wrong speed but it would be nice to know for sure .. i also heard that when they remastered it they got it wrong and the newer pressings were the wrong speed .. anybody know the details on that?
