does anyone at all have the first airing of this song?
wasn't it at some sort of Guitar Center party?

i suppose it is not that much different, being that it is such a simple song, but i would love to hear it.
i really like it. heard it really loud on headphones, while it was raining... really dumb, i guess, but i like it, alot.

does anyone have this?

It was a rebroadcast of the godawful Clear Channel "I Heart Payola" festival in Vegas. JA did Stop and Jane Says on the aired version; it's probably pretty easy to guess what the rest of their truncated set looked like.

They did BCS and Jane Say on the Aired version. You didn't miss anything. I sat and watched 2 hours of lip synced horribly bad high school talent show music. Gaga, J LO, Nicky Menage??, Black eyed peas etc....Corporate media owned tv and music shows are horrible.....Tune into any non commercial radio station and you'll hear plenty of great beautiful talented music. Watch VH1 or Grammys etc and you get Katy Perry, Black eyed Peas, Maroon 5 etc.

My least faves on the new record too. Broken People is IMHO the worst song in their entire catalog.

How anyone can listen to Superhero and say that is beyond me. It's not the greatest song, but it's not cringe inducing.

I can't stand Superhero or To Match the Sun either. Those tracks do nothing for me at all. Maceo and So What are throw aways to me too.

agreed.

Broken People is not obnoxious like Superhero.

I can tolerate Broken People, i just don't see any point in forcing myself to listen to it when I can skip to a better song.

I like it okay. Like on par with Strays music. Most of TGEA is better than this song or Strays IMO.
