Yes, i'm entering a mode where i can't stop playing it.......2 or 3 songs i'm not a big fan of.......but really like the rest.

yeah no...nice try though..i mean for people doing nothing different like the 15th gen versions of zeppelin bands sure..janes was sorta zep ish but they owned because they were different..same with the pixes stop grasping at strays...

No,i don't like it

i didn't think they could write anything worse than superhero and wrong girl but there are 5-6 songs just as bad or worse than those songs

much of tgea is lame and the cover is superlame but not as lame as the strays album cover

janes is up there with the beatles in my opinion and now they sound like limp bizkit/disturbed

After hearing this version of SMiLE and all that I can just say yeah this album is probably not going to get anymore spins for a few years. They made this album to continue the machine of playing the old songs and adding in some BS Strays track and then Underground to their typical 40 minute set.

That being said if they come to Austin I will be going to see them. They're still a good live show.

Even though I own every SMiLE boot known to man, I'm so fucking excited to get the official sessions box. And a high five for typing it right. :thumb:

Not that anyone should care, but I still really like this album, despite many reasons that I should feel the contrary. I understand all the vitriol, but I'm hooked. It's a seductive, atmospheric listen and I've enjoyed it every time I've heard it. Every song. There. Carry on.

When someone burns the community, the community moves along.

We have a good thing here and i doubt anyone would be clamoring to sonny's side just so they can post in Etty threads in the Jane's Addiction section of the board with the uncertainty over whether he's going to have another meltdown and tell the band and all the board members to piss off.
