Bad recording in Irresistible Force

I'm listening to the album (the version leaked via Demonoid) and there are a couple of drum skips, which is a pretty minor incident... but we're the JA community, so...

2:44 and 3:25 -> ride skips (sounds like 2 super fast ride hits, with a very "electronic-sound" quality)

This is usually a signal that a part has been cut and pasted... unless it's some kind of ultra-rare failure during the rip, which only affected the sound of the ride.

I deserve and explanation or I WILL SUE!

Have also heard some inconsistencies (particularly in this song) in the mix which appear to be either a slightly sloppy cut n paste editing job or a problem with the stream? If the former, pretty inexcusable really.

I mentioned this elsewhere already but the version on demonoid is clearly not a leak. It's just a split iTunes rip. And the audio quality is poorer than on my rip.

Can anyone else who owns the physical CD confirm this? I only hear it on the CD, not on the music video on YouTube or other versions. My disk has no scratches so I'm wondering if they did some more editing of the song before it went to press and what I'm hearing is a not so well done paste job or if I'm just hearing things.

1:37 is where the drum track lags, but you might want to start listening a good 10 seconds before that so you can tell the difference. It may just be my ears.
