I’ll Protect is another 09 song- cling to you was released a few years back on Perry’s box set

It would be way cool if they did Drip Away and completed the trilogy. I would be okay with them doing kettle whistle for this too

I’m with you. I don’t love most of the other older tracks I mentioned above. And despite how ridiculously overproduced it is, I do like the Strays version of “Suffer Some” for what it is.

Laughing beats is embrace the darkness. Those titles were interchangeable in 09 and confirmed by Dan back in 2020 that they were the same song

Yeah, I vaguely remember hearing something like that with a couple of the song titles. Is that the one that they played a tiny snippet of on Dark Matter or something? I’m assuming that given it is the original lineup that recorded it, it will end up released, even if they rework/re-record it.

Perry has mentioned a song called “Kingdom Come” that’s about Taylor Hawkins. Not entirely sure he earmarked it for Jane’s though.

Given the situation with Israel/Palestine, have had the thought Perry may want to bring back “I’ll Protect You” as well.
