Fucking love Broken People... and that little wordy bit that leads into the last song.

Definitely my least fave right now. The siamese dream style guitar toward the middle was a surprise and interesting but far from saved the song. I seriously never want to hear this one again, it sounds hokey.

I like the guitar, and I like the song so far, sounds kind of Beatley to me, but I can kinda hear Jane's in there somewhere. Really picked up with guitars coming in heavier. Until then I was putting it next to Classic Girl in my head and it seemed to kind of fit there...

Definitely my least favourite.

Re: broken people
clearly this album's "everybody's friend"
I like both songs. I know, you're all surprised.

i'm still in love with this song. Not sure what this even means but i concede that it isn't "Jane's"... or at least it probably isn't what i was expecting on this record, but i dig it all the same. I'm still working on Twisted Tales and Hit You Back... they're skippable right now.

Love Love this song Dave is on Fire.......
Re: broken people
I can see the 'power' bit in the middle going down an absolute storm at festivals. In fact I can imagine it being sync'd in a number of contexts.
I really like this song, the guitar reminds me of Kevin Shields, some good atmospheric layers in the background too.
Different, somewhat 'straight' for Jane's (and quite short) but I just really enjoy it. Hearing the direction they're in now I can see how it would have been difficult for Eric to fit in - it seems like the others don't really want to go back to the 'original spirit' and that's where EA's heart was. A shame, but would still love to hear them collaborate with him on a track or two in the future, even if not as a permanent member, would just like to hear something that hangs off a sub-zero EA bassline.
