People are gonna seem more mad nowadays due to everyone being much more connected than say 1996. Things happen, tour got cancelled, but at least they're touring again fairly soon. I was ok with it being cancelled as I couldn't make hardly any of the dates or they were in cities that are a pain to fly to.

Been bouncing around between fave Jane's and Porno tracks tonight at high volume.
I spent some time with GGU today. The title track is a total underrated gem, but then again I feel like the whole album is. Porpoise Head, 100 Ways, Kimberly Austin, GGU, Bali Eyes are all classics to me. The rest of the album is great, but those tracks are perfection. I will always feel like that album bridged the gap between Ritual and KW/So What. There was so much opportunity in that era for some really incredible music that just never got made. SYTBS was the last gasp of anything tribal and trippy and interesting. It’s all been mostly let downs since. But man, this snippet sounds like classic GGU. Which for me is just barely removed from Ritual.
This song is gonna suck just off of pure high expectations...there's a reason it got left off any releases in the 90's...might have the vibe of the time but I doubt it's as captivating as we'd like to believe

It sounds exactly like it came from that 1996 GGU/Hardcharger era. Which personally, I adored as much as anything that can before. That to me was the final era of classic Perry.

96??? Not 97 with Kettle Whistle and the Relapse Tour? I mean they actually reunited and did some KILLER shows, SNL (which was terrible) and KW was still a ray of hope way before Strays...LOVED GGU era too but I think 97 was the last year or two
