I like the chorus, I verses are boring/happy to me. Not really liking the sound of this one and its pretty straight ahead pop. It's just meh. :noclue:

I like this one too. I think it would be a good radio song too.

Yeah, I've heard Duran Duran style a couple of times on this record.
I'll have to listen to it again today, but last night I thought Perry would start singing come on done...

Let me rephrase that...

I love that melody. Love it. To me, so far it's the best moment in the album. Angel-like.

I like this...I've only heard like two Duran Duran songs in my life so I don't see the comparison at all, but I like Perry's vocal on this...

I guarantee you have heard more than 2 Duran Duran songs. They had many hits. Probably you've heard their songs but didn't know it was them.

I'm not really hearing the Duran Duran. For sure an 80s sound, more U2ish than Duran, imo. :noclue:

The whole album has a mid '80's California high school movie vibe to it. I like it.

Yeah, sounds vaguely similar to "Come Undone".

Bullshit.
I went to catholic school for 8 years, grew up & lived in a west indian neighborhood most of my life, didn't have cable till I was in my late teens and rarely if ever listened to the radio as a kid...aside from Wild Boys I can't recall ever hearing one of their songs as a kid or seeing any of their videos...most of the music I sought out was thru word of mouth and I was always under the impression that they were a band girls liked...sorry to disappoint yalls... :noclue:

I have also managed to avoid hearing the Macarena, Livin La Vida Loca and a whole myriad of songs that everyone told me got stuck their heads...I also have not seen Titanic...

This is becoming one of my favorites from the album, really creative melody from Perry and solid lyrics.

I've never seen Titanic or Avatar. The latter looks especially horrible.
