Fuck. I bought my tickets through SeatGeek. I haven't experienced this yet, but I've always heard that cancelled shows get refunded from Ticketmaster to the original purchaser. This is going to be fun figuring this out. I had two front row tickets in Atlanta too. Motherfucker.

Why would buy tickets in advance for this show? I cant belive people were reselling PFP tickets....

The venue I had tickets to in Bensalem Pa my friend is head of security told me it was due to low ticket saleshe told me a half hour before the announcement cause he knew I was going to be upset. Sure enough I cried like a baby.

That’s the one I was going to. When I went to buy my tickets, it didn’t seem like it was that undersold though. The first middle section was completely sold but I was actually kind of surprised by how much was already gone outside of that section. I think this “head of security” is full of shit. Why would he even know/be informed about things like that.

This line stuck out to me. They only started rehearsing toward the end of August. Did they decide to do more recording on a whim? If it’s an album or ends up being something more than three songs, I can see why they would want to push back.

Lol. I was in Ireland for a couple of Wilco shows so I didn't even see the 4 plays lol. I woke up at 2am local time and my phone was blowing up saying Rodgers was injured. We can't have nice things.

They’re all cancelled. Some just haven’t been updated yet on Ticketmaster.

welp .. looks like I am not driving to boston after all .. hopefully they will play montreal or something closer next time around .. considering agua and all the other never to happen albums I am concerned there is no record and sales were just low and kerplunk .. its over .. at least we got that lolla show .. pretty good except the corgan song where no one even bothered to learn the guitar parts

These venues were mostly the same size as Janes played in 2012, and would have been larger than anything P4P typically played in the past. They should have booked 1,000 max rooms.

Probably Terminal 5 ( ugh ) or my preference since I’m in the neighborhood would be Kings Theater in Brooklyn

But I honestly have no idea what venue they should play if it’s just them and an opener

I do worry that this entire thing goes kaput.

I have to think SOMETHING is in the works, they seem to have songs, and artwork made—they were rehearsing

Pretty much. I’m glad I got to see the Belasco show. Did not expect it at all, and they hit it out of the park. I’m disappointed about the cancellation, but not surprised. They probably won’t do anything else again

Where does a band like them play? Like theaters? It’s exciting but it’s hella niche. Same places like Love and Rockets play?

There is no way they are filling a theater unless there are 2-3 other 90s bands being added to this.

Small clubs if they have a young band opening.

Medium clubs is they pair up with like... Cracker and Veruca Salt.

Theater if they can get Garbage and Stone Temple Pilots.

Unfortunately, they did not get Garbage and Stone Temple Pilots (or Cracker and Veruca Salt) so they had to cancel the whole thing.

I remember seeing the tour with Jane’s and Alice In Chains and feeling embarrassed that they had to do that. New Alice is sorta lame and it was just like …ugh.

With P4P I can see a small venue tour but, I feel in their mind mind P4P was a much bigger deal than they actually were?

Nah, they’ll play a couple of more shows. Some Lollapalooza, another L.A. club, MAYBE an East Coast show, but probably not. No new music. Then back to Janes. Fuck it, I’ll go again in So Cal.

I wasn't impressed by the management article I read. Nor was I to learn Pete learned of the tour like the day before (or whatever it was). In any case, I can't see them mounting a more successful tour after canceling in such fashion new music or no. Smaller venues maybe. A co-bill from the period (though less appealing to me).

I can see either like 5 west coast and 5 east coast shows, but festivals in the summer.

Them and another Pumpkins level act in a trek of amphitheaters in the summer.

It’s funny. When Martyn said he was going to do the July 2022 shows, I basically decided on the spot I had to go and not leave anything to chance. Booked a flight and hotel that day. Glad I went, and I hope you get the opportunity to see that OG lineup too. I think you will.
