And so it continues. Navarro must be in pretty crappy shape if he doesn't anticipate being well enough to play one show almost 2 months from now. Obviously you have to wonder about the Smashing Pumpkins tour.

I sort of hope they just end up on the Pumpkins tour now so I can see them easily.

Hope Dave gets better. Btw - anyone else see that he is engaged?

I'm conflicted. I would love to see Porno, more so than Jane's, but I'd so much rather it be in a small venue.

I saw something coming up in a Jane's feed. It was a photo captioned 'congrats' with a close up of he and a girl laying a saliva rich slopfest on each other. I assumed it was both recent and he'd passed through the covid. Glad for Pete on this. I hope they don't slide south in the lineup. I guess you need to plan big stuff like this so far in advance…

I feel for Dave but I would rather see Porno on the Pumpkins tour. Chicago is too far and I am too lazy/busy to try for the metro show, but St Louis is doable.

Hope Dave heals from that stuff.

i thought martyn and perry weren't on good terms, i'm glad it's all over, i like Watts but the original lineup is my fav

Way back I remember reading some stories that said PF had treated him poorly. I don't know much more than that except there were a lot of hard drugs around

You would think the hard feelings were from when perry fired him from jane's after that show in japan and had all his bass parts rerecorded on strays by chaney.

I remember martyn saying he would never play with him again but then played at perry's birthday a while back.

Martyn tweeted last year that they had talked and any sort of Ill will had dissipated on his end.

I really hope they tour- they can’t just do a few shows and leave it at that. Even if they do the pumpkins tour in an arena I’ll take what I can get

I think something else happened between them if I remember correctly? I think that Perry BDay party was back in 2009, because I think Eric played it too with the Jane's reformation.

Gotta be Hard Charger. And what a shame that song never became a part of any set list. Which pisses me off just to think about. How the fuck do you not just turn that in to a Jane's song if that's all you're going to do for the next 25 years.

I’m now seriously considering flying out to Chicago for the metro gig. I’ll be really bummed if this doesn’t culminate in a tour so might as well see them any way I can.

Would love to get the whole Porno debut in the set and yes, play Hard Charger don't take it out. That would do it for me.

If I had a choice I also would prefer the smaller venues to see them.
I think Perry does well as a performer using a mic stand with both arms free not having to hold the mic in his hand. He gets more into the music this way focusing more on the songs at least in shows like this one:

Porno in '96 is still the best concert I've ever attended. When they played Mt. Song it felt like a bomb went off.

Me and Someguy are making the trip out to Chicago for the metro show. Opportunity out of nowhere to see the OG lineup at a small venue. Not leaving anything to chance by waiting for a later time, especially after the last few years of global catastrophe.

Perry is probably gonna be fucked up on wine or whatever he does nowadays. i hope the rest of the guys can keep it together.
