Anyone here ever been to The Belasco? Martyn said to someone on social that they were going on at 10:30 or so. Thinking of arriving at 9:45 to 10. I can't imagine that it'll take more than1/2 hour to park and make it to GA. Kinda over standing for hours waiting for a show, but I really don't want to miss a note.

In looking around today, I think I see there are a couple of openers. Starcrawler is one of them, and I kinds dig them, so I'll be there in plenty of time.

that is sad but if it means etty stays away from the pfp set it will be a solid 30

doesn't perry understand why people are there? you can't force feed kind heaven to people. i really hope it's more than 30 minutes.

Bummed. Makes no sense. Starcrawler gets double their time? I thought for sure they'd do an hour set, if for no other reason than to tune up for the festival.

So, I just checked PF's IG. He seems fixated on the other projects equally (at least) to PFP. I really need to start following these guys. Oh well, later...gonna make the best of it. Lol, it's so fuckin rare I get out of the house after 9 these days. My car ride will have more PFP time than the show....

I thought they sounded pretty good. This guy must have filmed the whole set. At least it's longer than a half hour. I don't get adding 1% or gilby clarke.

Damn. They actually sound really fucking good. Pete is cool and jams and plays loose. They should write a new/old song or two and hit the road. Sadly, that probably wont happen.

I thought they were fucking fantastic. I was shocked that Perry would still have something in the tank, but he does. The band were great, that's no surprise. The whole thing just started so strong from the first moment and (mostly) stayed there. There were a couple of lower points, mainly due to Perry's voice, but there was no cringing to be done. Non-stop smiles from all four of them throughout the set, and it was so good to see Martyn in the fold. It was interesting to watch him on the songs he wasn't involved with, but you could see him growing (not the right world) into them.

I saw the setlist at the start of the night and was irked by 1% being in there, but it worked - it actually worked really well (twat-Gilby notwithstanding). Given the numerous talking points throughout the night from people on stage addressing SCOTSU, rights, oppression, equality,etc., 1% actually seemed point and even appropriate. I was skeptical when they played JA songs at the festival in FL, but it made sense.

I'd only ever seen them once so had little frame of reference to compare to, but it took 30 seconds for me to feel that it was worth the travel. Quite a turnaround, given how risable Kind Heave (sic) Orchestra were. It'd be absurd if they don't play more shows. Surely the grins on stage point to that being the case...

I’m seriously wondering if they are going to do the Pumpkins tour. Dave and Chris haven’t even acknowledged it and Chris removed the band from his insta bio. I’m still going to to the Chicago show but I have no problem going again

strange. something odd is going on with Dave. I get long covid but he couldn't show up for that one show and stand there for 90 minutes playing guitar.

if dave doesn't do the sp tour then i guess they can still play as jane's addiction with this band and throw in a couple p4p songs. sp fans probably would prefer jane's songs.
