I’m absolutely positive that they did those versions because this drummer couldn’t “get” the parts as played by Perk on such short notice. I could be wrong, but these are the sort of adjustments you typically do when you need to get the job done and you don’t have 3-4 days to really pull out all the stops for songs like “Stop!” and “Mountain Song.”

That's a good point, the drummer couldn't hack it in short notice so they played the lounge version.

That's actually a funky version of stop. I kind of loved it lol. Almost had a Van Haleny sound to it.

Cool drum rhythm for the first couple minutes before the snare kicks in and kind of breaks up the funkyness. The first couple minutes of this new version(Stop/Hardcharger combo) has me wanting to hear new PFP music.

that whole show was slammin .. just hearing pete and watt jam was top shelf .. perry raspy voice sounds good with the pyros tunes .. the danger of a fill in drummer for a fill in band all last minute really brought out the IDGAF spirit .. drummer wasn't half bad considering .. etty still awful but mostly quiet .. at least chaney was not there to bore everyone to death .. the janes covers were ok .. perry sang aint no right better than he has in decades .. watt was awesome the whole show as was pete .. even the other guitar guy had some nice touches .. best thing perry has done in a long while .. noone can do perk but this was a great jam

Yeah it was a loose sounding jam session. No one trying to be perfect. The problem with Jane's is they are so careful and can't let loose.
